Healing, protection
We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious son to the Lord our Healer and Protector. Your request touches the very heart of God, who declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand in agreement with you, believing that God’s healing power is not limited—it encompasses body, mind, and spirit.
Father, we ask You to stretch forth Your hand and touch this young man. Where there is pain, bring Your soothing balm. Where there is weakness, infuse Your strength. Where there is confusion or fear, let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity, depression, or anxiety that may be afflicting him. In the name of Jesus, we command these things to flee, for it is written, "By His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for Your divine protection over him. Surround him with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 declares, "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Shield him from physical harm, emotional distress, and spiritual attacks. Let Your presence be a fortress around him, a refuge in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we ask that You would order his steps and keep him from every snare of the enemy.
Yet, we must also address the spiritual foundation of this prayer. While we are grateful that you invoked the name of Jesus in your request, we want to emphasize the power and necessity of His name. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through faith in Him that we can approach the Father. If your son does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of healing would also be a season of salvation for him. Draw him to Yourself, Lord, and let him experience the fullness of life that comes only through Christ (John 10:10).
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, even when circumstances seem bleak. Remember the story of the woman with the issue of blood—she pressed through the crowd, believing that if she could just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be made whole (Mark 5:25-34). Her faith was rewarded. Let your faith be unwavering, knowing that God is faithful to His Word.
Let us pray together:

We thank You that You are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and Jehovah Nissi, our banner of protection. Lord, we ask that You would touch him in every area of his life—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Bring restoration where there is brokenness, peace where there is turmoil, and strength where there is weakness. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of sickness, fear, or despair in the mighty name of Jesus.
Surround him with Your love, Lord. Let him feel Your presence in tangible ways, and let Your peace rule in his heart. If he does not yet know You as his Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. Draw him to the foot of the cross, where he can find forgiveness, redemption, and new life in Christ.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You are working even now on his behalf. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and help us to trust in Your perfect timing and will. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
