We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare His healing power over every area of your son’s life, trusting that by His stripes, he *is* healed (Isaiah 53:5). May the Great Physician touch him with His restoring hand, bringing wholeness where there is weakness, clarity where there is confusion, and peace where there is turmoil.
Father, we also stand in the gap for his protection. You are a shield around him, his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Command Your angels to guard him in all his ways, that no harm would befall him nor any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10-11). Surround him with Your presence, Lord, so that he may dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under Your shadow (Psalm 91:1). Let Your love be a tangible reality to him, a peace that surpasses all understanding to calm his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be attempting to take root in his life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your son is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him feel the reality of Your nearness, for You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, as his parent, to know how to support and encourage him in this season. May you be filled with hope and patience, trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing and unfailing love. Lean not on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the authority we have in the name of Jesus to come boldly before Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). It is only through the finished work of Christ that we have access to You, and we are so grateful for the privilege of intercession. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power to move on behalf of this family. Amen.
