Healing, protection
We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit—and for God’s mighty protection over his life. How precious it is to see a parent’s heart interceding for their child with such faith and love! We stand with you in agreement, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the prayers of His children when we come to Him in the name of Jesus.
The Scriptures remind us of God’s deep care for our children and His power to heal and protect. In **Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB)**, we read, *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* What a comforting promise—that the Lord Himself commands His angels to watch over those we love! And in **Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB)**, the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* a promise that extends to every area of our lives, including our children.
Yet we also recognize that healing and protection are not just about physical safety or the absence of illness—they are deeply tied to spiritual wholeness. We pray that your son would be surrounded by the peace of God that surpasses all understanding, as **Philippians 4:7 (WEB)** assures us: *"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May his mind be renewed by the truth of God’s Word, and may his spirit be strengthened to resist the schemes of the enemy.
We also encourage you to continue covering your son in prayer daily, speaking life and Scripture over him. Claim **Isaiah 54:13 (WEB)** over his life: *"All your children will be taught by Yahweh, and your children’s peace will be great."* Let this be your declaration—that your son would walk in the wisdom and favor of the Lord, growing in faith and purpose.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand to touch him completely—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Where there is pain, bring relief; where there is weakness, bring strength; where there is confusion or fear, bring clarity and peace. Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and hide him under the shadow of Your wings. Protect him from every harm, seen and unseen, and let no weapon formed against him prosper.
Father, we also pray for his spiritual walk. Draw him closer to You, that he may know You not just as his Creator but as his Savior and Friend. If there are areas in his life where he has strayed or been influenced by the world, convict his heart and lead him to repentance. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom, discernment, and purity. Let his life be a testimony of Your grace and power.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
