We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit—and for God’s mighty protection to surround him like a shield. Your heart as a parent reflects the Father’s love, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals.
The Scriptures remind us of God’s promise in Jeremiah 30:17: *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* We claim this over your son, trusting that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in him. The psalmist declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* Let us hold fast to these truths, believing that God’s healing touch is upon him even now.
We also take authority over any spiritual attacks or schemes of the enemy that may seek to harm your son. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* So we put on the full armor of God, praying that every plan of the enemy against your son be thwarted by the blood of Jesus. We declare Psalm 91:11-12 over him: *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*
Yet, as we pray, we must also remember that healing and protection are ultimately in God’s sovereign hands. His ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Even in moments of waiting or suffering, we trust in His goodness, as Romans 8:28 assures us: *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Let us not grow weary in prayer but persist with faith, knowing that our labor in intercession is never in vain.
Father in heaven, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious son to You. You know his name, his needs, and the deepest cries of his heart even before we speak them. Lord Jesus, by the stripes You bore on the cross, we ask for his complete healing—restore his body from every sickness, disease, and pain. Renew his mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, casting out every fear, anxiety, or torment. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in victory and wholeness, rooted in Your love.
We plead the blood of Jesus over him as his protection. Surround him with Your heavenly angels, Lord, and hide him under the shadow of Your wings. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned. Guard his steps, his thoughts, and his heart, that he may grow in wisdom and stature, favored by God and man.
Father, we also ask that You strengthen this parent who loves him so dearly. Fill them with Your peace and assurance, reminding them that You are a good Father who hears and answers prayer. Let them rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for good, even in the waiting.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep declaring God’s promises over your son. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. We are with you in this, believing for a testimony of God’s power and goodness in your son’s life.
