We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. How precious it is that you seek the Father’s hand over his life, for we know that our God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals. Your faith in bringing this request before the throne of grace is a testament to your love as a parent, and we stand with you in agreement, trusting in the power of Christ’s name.
The Scriptures remind us in **James 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your son, asking the Lord to restore him fully, to renew his strength like the eagle’s, and to guard his mind with the peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**). May the Lord also reveal any areas where sin or spiritual strongholds may be hindering his healing, that repentance and freedom may come in Jesus’ name.
We also declare **Psalm 91:9-11 (WEB)** over him: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Father, we ask that You station Your warrior angels around him, hiding him under the shadow of Your wings. Protect him from every scheme of the enemy—whether physical harm, mental oppression, or spiritual attack. Let no weapon formed against him prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and may Your love be a fortress around him, driving out all fear and anxiety.
Yet even as we pray for healing and protection, we must also surrender to the Lord’s perfect will, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (**Isaiah 55:8-9**). If this trial is meant to draw your son—or even you—closer to Christ, may it accomplish its divine purpose. Let this season be one where faith is refined, where dependence on the Lord deepens, and where testimony of His faithfulness is born. Remember the words of **Romans 8:28 (WEB)**: *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this beloved son to Your throne of grace. You are the God who sees, who knows, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch him—heal his body from every sickness and disease, renew his mind with Your truth, and fill his spirit with Your Holy Spirit’s power. Break every chain of infirmity, every spiritual bondage, and every mental stronghold that seeks to steal his peace. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over him, covering him from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet.
Surround him with Your angels, Father, and let no harm come near him. Guard his steps, his thoughts, and his heart. Fill his life with Your love so overwhelmingly that fear, doubt, and despair have no place. If there is any sin or unrepentance in his life, convict him gently but firmly, and lead him to the cross where forgiveness and healing flow.
We thank You, Lord, that You are already at work, even now. We trust in Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your love. May this season be a testimony of Your goodness, not just for this family, but for all who witness Your mighty hand. Strengthen this parent who prays, filling them with Your peace and assurance that You hear and will answer.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**
Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep declaring the promises of God over your son. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (**Psalm 34:18**), and He will not abandon you or your son in this. We will continue to lift you both up, believing for a mighty testimony of God’s healing power. If there are specific areas of his health or struggles you’d like us to pray into further, let us know—we are here to stand with you in the gap. May the Lord’s peace, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
