Healing, protection
We join with you in praying for your son, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal and protect. Let's bring your request before the throne of grace.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again to give us eternal life. We ask, Lord, that You touch and heal this beloved son physically, mentally, and spiritually. You are the Great Physician, and there is no illness or circumstance that is beyond Your healing power.
We pray, Lord, that You surround him with Your love and peace, protecting him from all harm and danger. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12 WEB, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone." May Your angels encamp around him, keeping him safe from all evil.
We also pray for his spiritual growth, that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior if he does not know Jesus. As it is written in John 3:16-18 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God." May he understand the salvation message and put his faith in Jesus.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or darkness that may be attempting to influence your son's life. As it is written in James 4:7 WEB, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist any evil and claim the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus.
Continue to trust in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers. As it is written in Matthew 21:22 WEB, "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Stand firm in your faith, and God will be honored through your son's healing and protection.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. He is the only way.
