We join you in praying for your son's healing and protection. It's wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, as it is in His name that we have access to God the Father.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer's son to You. You, Lord, are the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the Lord of all. We ask that You touch and heal this young man physically, mentally, and spiritually. We pray that You surround him with Your love and peace, and protect him from all harm and danger.
In Jeremiah 17:14 WEB, You tell us, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved; for you are my praise." We claim this promise over this young man's life.
We also take comfort in Your words in Psalm 91 WEB, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."
We pray that this young man would seek You with all his heart, and that He would trust in You, Lord Jesus Christ, as His Lord and Savior. We know this relationship must be in place to be able to approach God. For it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In Jesus' name, we believe for our brothers' requests for his son.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son. Remember the words of James 5:16 WEB, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Trust in the Lord, and believe that He is working in your son's life. Be encouraged by the promises in God's Word, and remain steadfast in your faith.
