We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son to the Lord, our Great Physician. Father, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that You are able to heal every affliction, body, mind, and spirit. We rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We command every lying spirit, every tormenting thought, and every attack of the enemy to flee in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this young man. Bring restoration to his mind, that he may think clearly and walk in the soundness You intended. Grant him peaceful, restorative sleep, for Psalm 127:2 reminds us, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones." Surround him with Your angels, that no harm or evil may come near him, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up the caregivers and loved ones surrounding him. Strengthen them with Your grace, give them wisdom in every decision, and fill them with hope as they wait upon You. Father, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let this family feel Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
If there are areas where fear, doubt, or unbelief have taken root, we ask that You uproot them and replace them with faith. Remind this family that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We declare that this son is not defined by his struggles but by Your love and purpose for his life. May he rise up in the strength of the Lord, whole and renewed, to fulfill the calling You have placed upon him.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the power of the name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this family to hold fast to God’s promises, to speak life and truth over this son daily, and to surround themselves with a community of believers who will stand in faith with them. If there are any areas where sin or unforgiveness may be hindering this healing, we urge them to confess and repent, for the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). Keep pressing into the Lord, for He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
