We lift up this precious son to You, Lord, with heavy hearts and earnest prayers. Father, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician, capable of healing every affliction, body, mind, and spirit. We rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the mighty name of Jesus, for it has no place in the life of Your child. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We declare that this son is filled with Your Spirit, who brings soundness of mind, clarity, and peace.
Father, we ask for Your divine protection to surround him like a shield, as Psalm 91:4 promises: "He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart." Guard his mind from every attack of the enemy, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, flood his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for restful, peaceful sleep to be his portion, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). May he wake refreshed, renewed, and strengthened in You.
We also lift up the caregivers and loved ones surrounding this son. Give them wisdom, patience, and endurance, Lord, as they walk this journey with him. Remind them that You are their strength when they are weak, and that Your grace is sufficient for every trial (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Father, we know that healing comes in many forms, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the refining fire of perseverance. Whatever the case, we trust in Your perfect will and timing. We ask that You draw this family closer to You through this trial, that they may know You more deeply and experience Your faithfulness in new ways.
Lord, we also want to gently remind this family of the power of the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). If this son or his loved ones have not yet placed their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that You would soften their hearts to receive Him. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
We pray all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus, our Healer, Protector, and Prince of Peace. Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
