We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to stretch forth His healing hand upon him in every way, body, mind, and spirit. The Word of God assures us that "by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today, declaring that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17). We rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written, "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). May your son be filled with the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we ask that You surround him with Your holy angels, protecting him from every form of harm and evil. Let Your presence be a comfort to him, a refuge in times of trouble, and a source of unshakable peace. Grant him restful, peaceful sleep, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Strengthen his mind with clarity, his heart with hope, and his spirit with the assurance of Your unfailing love.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him, doctors, counselors, and loved ones, so that they may be guided by Your Spirit in every decision. May Your will be done in his life, and may he come to know You more deeply through this trial, for You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we thank You for the power in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or set free (Acts 4:12). We declare that your son is covered by the blood of Christ, redeemed, and set apart for Your purposes. May he walk in the fullness of Your healing, restoration, and peace, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We are holding your son before the Lord with you, and we’re grateful you reached out. The love in your request is clear, you’re carrying a heavy weight, and we want to stand alongside you in it.

It’s wise that you named sleep alongside a sound mind. Sleep isn’t a small thing; it’s a gift God uses to restore us, body and soul. When sleep is broken, everything else feels harder. So we pray with you that God would grant your son nights of deep, undisturbed rest as a tangible mercy.

At the same time, we want to gently encourage you to make sure he is also seen by a doctor or mental health professional, if he hasn’t been already. Psychosis is a serious medical symptom, and while we pray fervently for God’s supernatural healing, He often works through medical care and wisdom. There’s no contradiction between asking God to heal and seeking help from those trained to understand the mind. In fact, ensuring he has that support can be an act of faithful love.

May you sense God’s steady presence with you as you walk this road. You are not alone, and your son is not forgotten.

Jesus, we lift this son to You. Quiet his mind, still his fears, and grant him sleep that truly restores. Surround him with Your protection and let Your peace settle deep inside him. Give his parent wisdom, endurance, and fresh hope. We ask for healing and clarity, in Your name. Amen.

The cry of a parent’s heart pierces the heavens, and the Lord who hears the young ravens when they cry will not turn away from your entreaty. You have done well to flee to the Strong for strength, to cast this dear one upon the One who is able to subdue all things unto Himself. It is written, “He giveth his beloved sleep.” That quiet slumber, that calm rest of body and brain, is a gift from the Father’s hand, and He can command the raging billows within to be hushed in an instant. Let faith hold to this, for the same voice that stilled the Galilean tempest can speak peace to a troubled mind.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is a physician who never lost a patient. In Him is abundant healing, not only the rich fruit of His atonement, but the very leaves of the tree of life which are for the healing of the nations. The least touch of His grace can restore a sound mind, for healing and pardon are joined together. When the palsy of sin and the palsy of the brain meet in His presence, He saith, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” The spirit of psychosis is a fierce enemy, but the Deliverer out of Zion is mightier. He who brought Israel forth from iron bondage, with silver and gold of grace, can bring your son out of this darkness into His marvellous light. The deliverance comes when the Lamb is slain; look to the cross, and trust the power of that precious blood.

Pray on, dear suppliant, and watch with expectancy. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the hour of your son’s deliverance from before the foundation of the world, and that moment is drawing nigh. Wrestle at the brook Jabbok, even through the long night, and you shall meet Esau coming in peace. Do not let spiritual sleep steal over you in this trial, for the darkness of affliction is no time for slumber; rather, let your faith be wakeful, clinging to the ransom found. Christ has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Rest your whole weight upon Him, and may the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, garrison your own heart and mind, even as you trust Him for your beloved child.

When you cry out for your son in the quiet hours, remember that our Lord often chose to heal only when pressed by earnest entreaty. He asked the blind men, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” Not that He would pray or merely ask the Father, but that He Himself had power. So fix your heart there: He is able to cast out every darkness. God has not given a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. That very soundness, that sober and wakeful soul, is what you crave for your child, and it is His gift, if you seek it as one searching for lost gold, with hands stretched forth even in the night without being deceived.

Do not let the drunkenness of worldly thoughts lull you into a slumber that is worse than sleep. For there is an evil sleep that opens the door to enemies both human and demonic. Rouse yourself, pull up these thorns by the root, and turn the silence of midnight into a hymn. The night was not made only for resting the body; it is the time when the Church, in affliction, becomes purer than the sky. Look out upon the stars and the deep stillness, and let it lift your mind to compunction. What seems like a crushing weight is, when borne with faith, an affliction not above measure, one that can sober and save.

The cross has made even demons contemptible, and death itself is nothing but a sleep. So the spirit that torments your son’s mind has already been defeated. Christ, who humbled Himself to be called Son of David, endured such things to make you and your household children of God. Do not despise the power of this adjuration: you are asking for mercy, for alms of healing, and the Lord will not pass by. Strive in prayer until your son arises from this bed of thistles, his soul clear, wakeful, and sharp-sighted, like a faithful eunuch standing before the King, no longer weighed down by sleep or fear, but filled with the freedom and health of the redeemed.
