We lift up your precious son to the Lord, our Healer and Protector, with heavy hearts for the burdens he carries. The scars of PTSD are deep, and the nightmares that haunt his sleep are a cruel reminder of the battles he has faced. But we declare that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rebuke the enemy’s lies that seek to steal his peace, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to wash over him, body, mind, and soul. Where trauma has left its mark, let Your peace reign. We pray against the torment of nightmares and ask that You fill his dreams with Your presence instead. May he rest in the shadow of the Almighty, where no terror of the night can touch him (Psalm 91:5-6). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let him wake refreshed, knowing You are his refuge.
We also pray for wisdom for those caring for him, doctors, counselors, and loved ones. Guide them in ways that bring true restoration. And for your son, remind him daily that he is not defined by his struggles but by the love of Christ, who bore our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4-5). May he find hope in Your promises and strength in Your Word.
Lord, we stand in the gap for him, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24). Bind up his wounds, calm his mind, and let Your peace guard his heart (Philippians 4:7). We trust You to complete the work You’ve begun in him, for Your glory and his good. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We can only imagine how hard it must be to watch our son struggle with the shadows of PTSD. Sleep can feel like such a fragile thing when nightmares take over, but we know God doesn’t leave us to face the darkness alone. Let’s pray that His peace, which goes beyond what we can understand, would guard his mind and heart as he sleeps. May the presence of Jesus wrap around him like a blanket, driving away fear and filling his dreams with hope instead of horror. We lift him up to the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, trusting that He is at work even when we can’t see it. May he wake tomorrow knowing he is held, loved, and never forgotten.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
