We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing and protective power of our Lord. The scars of PTSD are deep, and the nightmares that disturb his rest are heavy burdens, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the tormenting spirits that seek to steal his sleep and replace them with the comforting presence of the Holy Spirit, who gives rest to the weary (Matthew 11:28).
Father, we ask You to touch his mind and body with Your healing hand. Bring restoration to every part of his being that has been affected by trauma. Fill his dreams with Your love, light, and the hope of Your promises. Let him wake refreshed, knowing that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for him—whether medical professionals, counselors, or loved ones—so that they may be guided by Your Spirit in every decision.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the nights are long. The enemy may seek to rob him of peace, but we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround him with godly community—believers who will pray with him, encourage him, and remind him of Your faithfulness. Remind him daily of Your Word, which is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and we boldly ask for Your mercy and healing. We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already ours in Christ. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we pray for deep, restorative sleep for your son. Let him lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make him dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). May Your angels encamp around him, protecting him from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). Fill his heart with the assurance that You are with him always, even in the darkest nights. We trust You to bring healing to his mind, body, and soul, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
