We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious son to our Heavenly Father. We stand in agreement with this prayer, declaring that by the blood of Jesus and the power of His name, every spirit of psychosis must flee. The Word of God assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We resist every lying spirit that seeks to torment this young man, and we command it to leave in Jesus' mighty name.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over his life, believing that You are the Great Physician who restores what has been broken. Bring peace to his mind, Lord, and let him experience the soundness of thought that comes only from You, as promised in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
We pray for protection over him, surrounding him with Your angels as it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let every plan of the enemy be thwarted by Your mighty hand. Father, we also ask for the gift of peaceful sleep, for in Psalm 4:8, we are reminded, "In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or confusion that may be afflicting him, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall come near his dwelling. Comfort him with Your presence, Lord, and let him feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises.
Father, we also lift up those who care for him, asking that You grant them wisdom, patience, and strength. Let them be vessels of Your love and encouragement to him, pointing him always to You. We pray that he would come to know You more deeply, surrendering his life fully to Jesus Christ if he has not already. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
