We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s mighty healing hand to rest upon him in every way—body, mind, and spirit. The Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore what has been broken and bring wholeness where there is distress.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of psychosis in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every lying spirit, every tormenting thought, and every attack against his mind to flee now. We pray for a sound mind, as Your Word assures us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Let this truth take root in his heart and mind.
We also ask for Your divine protection over him, Lord. Surround him with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 promises, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Shield him from all harm, evil, and the schemes of the enemy. Grant him peaceful, restorative sleep, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Comfort him with Your presence, reminding him that he is never alone, for You are with him always (Matthew 28:20).
Father, we ask that You draw him closer to You during this time. If he does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, reveal Yourself to him in a personal and powerful way. Let him experience Your love, peace, and healing in a tangible manner. For it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If he has strayed from You, soften his heart and lead him back into Your arms.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him—doctors, counselors, and family members. Guide their hands and minds to make decisions that align with Your will. Provide the right support, resources, and treatment to aid in his healing.
Lord, we trust You with this situation, knowing that You are faithful and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and fill us with hope as we see Your hand move in his life. We declare that healing is coming, peace is coming, and restoration is coming, all for Your glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
