We lift up your son before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. The pain of PTSD is heavy, and the nightmares that disrupt his sleep are a cruel burden. But we know that our Heavenly Father is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask for Your healing touch to restore his mind, body, and soul. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to bring wholeness. We rebuke the spirits of fear and torment that seek to steal his peace, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let Your love and light flood his dreams, replacing the darkness with visions of hope and comfort. We pray that he would rest securely in Your arms, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep, and that You are his ever-present protector (Psalm 121:3-4).
We also pray for wisdom and strength for you as you walk alongside him in this journey. May you be filled with patience, compassion, and the assurance that God is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Encourage him with the truth that he is not defined by his struggles but by the love of Christ, who gave Himself for him.
Lord, we thank You that in Jesus’ name, we have authority to stand against the schemes of the enemy. We break every assignment of the enemy over his life and command every spirit of trauma and fear to flee. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide. Surround him with godly influences—friends, mentors, and counselors—who can speak life and truth into his situation.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true healing (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in his life, and may he experience the fullness of Your love and restoration. Amen.
