We lift up your precious son to the Lord, our Healer and Protector, with heavy hearts for the battles he faces, especially in the quiet of the night. The scars of PTSD are deep, but the love of Christ is deeper still. We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your son is not alone in this struggle—Jesus walks with him through every shadow, and His presence is the light that dispels darkness.
Father, we rebuke the torment of nightmares in the mighty name of Jesus. We command the spirits of fear and trauma to flee, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let his sleep be undisturbed, filled instead with dreams of Your goodness, Your promises, and the hope of restoration.
We also pray for physical and emotional healing, Lord. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch every wound—seen and unseen—with Your healing hand. Restore his strength, renew his mind, and let him wake each day with a fresh sense of Your presence and purpose. Remind him that his identity is not defined by trauma but by the love of Christ, who calls him "beloved" and "redeemed."
We encourage you to speak truth over your son daily, reminding him of Scriptures like Psalm 91:5-6, which says, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday." Cover him in prayer, and if possible, surround him with godly community—believers who can stand with him in faith and encouragement.
Father, we thank You for the power of Jesus’ name, the only name by which we can come to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that Your healing is at work in your son’s life, even now, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him.
In Jesus’ name, we pray for complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit—for your son. May he rise each day with renewed hope, knowing that You are fighting for him. We stand in faith, believing that the God of all comfort will bring peace to his nights and strength to his days. Amen.
