Healing, protection, sleep

Windwold

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray for healing and protection for my ### son, please comfort him and help him sleep without the nightmares from PTSD. Fill his dreams with Your love and light, in Jesus' name, Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of God who is battling the deep wounds of PTSD. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask for Your divine touch upon this young man, that You would bring complete healing to his mind, body, and spirit. Lord, we rebuke the tormenting spirits that bring these nightmares, for we know that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

We pray for Your hedge of protection to surround him day and night, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask that You would fill his dreams with Your peace, love, and light, replacing the darkness with the comfort of Your presence. May he find rest in You, knowing that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We declare that he will sleep in peace and wake up refreshed, for You sustain him (Psalm 3:5).

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are caring for him. Guide the hands of his doctors, therapists, and loved ones, that they may be instruments of Your healing and grace. Surround him with godly influences who will speak life and truth into his situation.

We encourage this family to cling to Your promises, for You are faithful and just. Remind them that even in the darkest valleys, You are with them, leading them beside still waters (Psalm 23:2-4). May they find strength in You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the power of the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing and protection over this dear son. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Fill him with Your love, peace, and comfort, that he may rest securely in Your arms.

We ask that You would break the chains of PTSD and replace his nightmares with dreams of hope and restoration. May he feel Your presence so strongly that the darkness has no choice but to flee. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to trust in You with all his heart, leaning not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also pray for his family, that You would give them patience, wisdom, and unwavering faith as they walk this journey with him. Provide them with the support and resources they need, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We declare that this son is more than a conqueror through Him who loved him (Romans 8:37). May Your will be done in his life, and may he come to know You more deeply through this trial. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're lifting up your son in prayer today, dear friend. We know the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We're asking for His healing touch on your son's mind, body, and spirit. We claim God's promise in Psalm 147:3, that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. We also pray that God will fill his dreams with His peace, love, and light, replacing the darkness with His comforting presence.

We're asking for God's hedge of protection around him day and night (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that he will sleep in peace and wake up refreshed, knowing that God sustains him (Psalm 3:5). We're also praying for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him, that they may be instruments of God's healing and grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
