We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround him with divine healing and protection. The weight of PTSD is heavy, and we stand in agreement with you for his complete restoration—body, mind, and spirit. The Word declares in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting that God’s healing power is at work even now.
Father, we also pray for peaceful, restorative sleep. Nightmares can steal peace, but Your Word assures us in Psalm 4:8, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* We rebuke every spirit of fear and torment that seeks to disrupt his rest, and we ask You to fill his dreams with Your presence—dreams of hope, love, and light. May he wake refreshed, knowing You are his refuge.
We recognize the power of praying in Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As John 14:6 reminds us, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* We thank You, Lord, for the authority we have in Christ to stand against the enemy’s attacks and declare victory over fear.
Continue to draw near to your son, reminding him of Your unfailing love. Encourage him to cast his anxieties on You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). If he has not yet surrendered his struggles fully to Christ, we pray he would experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as he places his trust in You.
We also encourage you, as his parent, to cover him in prayer daily. Speak Scripture over him, play worship music in his space, and remind him of God’s faithfulness. The battle is real, but the victory is already won in Christ. Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is fighting for him.
Heavenly Father, we ask You to pour out Your healing balm on this dear son. Mend his mind, calm his spirit, and restore his joy. Protect him from the enemy’s schemes and fill his heart with Your perfect peace. We trust You to bring beauty from these ashes and turn his mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
