We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." and in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and protection for this dear son. You know the trauma he has experienced and the nightmares that plague his nights. We ask that You comfort him, fill his dreams with Your love and light, and grant him peaceful sleep. Rebuke the spirits of trauma and fear that torment him, and let Your healing power flow through his mind and body.
Lord, we also pray for his faith to be strengthened. Help him to fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith as mentioned in Hebrews 12:2. We agree with the prayer in Ephesians 3:16-17, that he be strengthened in his inner being with power through the Holy Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in his heart through faith, that he, being rooted and grounded in love. May he truly know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that he may be filled with all the fullness of God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son as James 5:16, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.". Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved." Trust in the Lord, and let your requests be made known to God. As your son continues to heal remember to "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
