We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved from the penalty and power of sin. As the Scripture says, And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved from the wrath of God against sin and be delivered out of sin itself. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and protection for our dear brother's son. You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from You. Lord, wrap Your loving arms around him and bring him the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that is causing these nightmares and declare that it has no power over him, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. We also ask for divine healing from this PTSD as it is biblical and it is the will of God. We also ask for the necessary steps and help to seek earthly medical care to complement this healing.
Father, grant him peaceful nights, and let his sleep be sweet and uninterrupted, for in peaceful sleep You sustain him. We pray for Your protection over his mind, his body, and his spirit, and we trust in Your promise that You will give Your angels charge over him.
Lord Jesus, You showed us Your compassion for those who suffer when You reached out and touched them, healing their diseases. Reach out and touch our dear brother's son now, and heal him from his PTSD. Let him be in health and prosper even as his soul prospers. Put people in his path to help him, both spiritually and medically.
Father, we ask that You guide him and fill him with a spirit of grace and supplication. Bless him with the ability to cry out to You, and if he has not already believed in Jesus Christ, to receive salvation in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let us also remember to be patient, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. For though we are many, we are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
In Jesus' name, we pray with thanksgiving and full of hope.
Let us encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church and Christian community and to make sure you son is in a healthy biblical church. Stand firm in your faith, and remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
Let us also remember to be patient, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. For though we are many, we are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
