We join you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, praying for his healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. We stand in agreement with you, believing that our Lord is mighty to save and deliver from all afflictions.
Let us remember the words of the Psalmist, King David, who was no stranger to turmoil and distress. He said to the Lord, For you will light my lamp, and you will lighten my darkness and you see the arrogance of my enemies, and my heart shall rejoice in your salvation and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness, and your praise all the day long. Psalms 18:28-29, 18:30, and 71:23WEB.
In times of trouble, we can always turn to our loving Father in heaven. Jesus tells us, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 WEB.
We stand before you, Lord, asking for your healing touch upon this beloved son. Comfort him in his times of distress, and deliver him from his nightmares. Grant him peaceful sleep, and surround him with your protective presence.
We also pray for his continued faith and trust in you, Lord. Draw him ever closer to you, that he may know your love and peace more intimately. Help him to fix his eyes on you, the author and perfecter of our faith.
In Jesus name, we rebuke the spirit of fear that may be tormenting him with these nightmares. We command it to leave in Jesus' name, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB.
Together, we lift up your request, trusting in the power of prayer and the mighty name of Jesus. It is in His name that we have access to the Father. It is in His name that we are saved. For there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, through which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. Let us remind everyone that if they have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, that they can do so now, by simply believing in their heart that God raised him from the dead, and confessing with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, Romans 10:9.
As a group, we stand with you in faith, believing that our Lord hears our prayers and will answer according to His perfect will and timing. Keep trusting in Him and bring all of your anxiety to him in prayer and in thanksgiving. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
