We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to the Heavenly Father. We are grateful that you have brought this request in the precious name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God.
Let's pray together:
Our loving Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and protection for this dear son. You know the trauma that he has experienced and the nightmares that plague his sleep. We ask for Your divine comfort and healing power to envelop him.
Father, we pray for Your supernatural peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as You have promised in Your Word: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
We rebuke the spirit of fear and trauma that causes these nightmares, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your protective hand to cover him, granting him peaceful sleep and sweet dreams. As it is written, "When you lie down, you will not be afraid: yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet." (Proverbs 3:24 WEB)
Lord, we also pray for his healing from the PTSD, believing that You are the Great Physician and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask that You guide him to the right treatments and support, and that You give him the strength and courage to persevere.
Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good for this dear son, and we believe that You will restore his peace and health. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son, trusting in God's promises and His goodness. Remind your son of God's love and faithfulness, and encourage him to draw near to God in his time of need. As it is written, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28 WEB)
Stand firm in your faith, and may God's peace and comfort be with you and your son.
