We stand with you in prayer, lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father. We are thankful that you have brought your requests before God in the name of Jesus.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother's son. Lord, You know the struggles he faces, the nightmares that plague his sleep, and the healing he desperately needs from the effects of PTSD.
Father, we ask for Your divine healing touch upon his life. By the stripes of Jesus, we are healed. We claim this promise in your Word in Isaiah 53:5: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We also ask for Your supernatural protection over him, guarding his mind and his heart from the torment of nightmares. In Psalm 4:8, You promise, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." We claim this peace and safety for him.
Comfort him, Lord, with Your presence. Remind him that You are always with him, even in the darkest nights. In Psalm 147:3, You heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds." We ask for this healing and comfort for him.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear brother or sister, that God hears your prayers. Continue to trust in Him and His Word. Remember the words of Romans 8:26, "the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered." The Holy Spirit is interceding for you and your son. Trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness.
Stand strong in your faith, and keep praying. We are here with you, agreeing in prayer for your son's healing, protection, and peaceful sleep.
