Let's join together in prayer for your son's healing, protection, and peaceful sleep. We are reminded of the Lord's comforting words in Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, Lord, only make me dwell in safety."
Firstly, we give thanks to our Heavenly Father for the promise of protection and healing that is available to us through His Son Jesus Christ. We are grateful that He cares for us and that we can approach Him boldly in our time of need. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother in Christ. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with PTSD and the nightmares that plague his sleep. We ask for Your healing touch upon his mind and body. Cast out the spirit of fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect love, for Your perfect love casts out fear 1 John 4:18 WEB.
We pray for Your supernatural peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 WEB, and we ask for Your angels to encamp around him, protecting him from all harm and danger. Surround him with Your favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12 WEB, and grant him the gift of peaceful sleep.
Father, we also pray for his faith to be strengthened, that he may find comfort and hope in You. Help him to trust in You with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding; In all his ways, let him acknowledge You and You will make his paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of PTSD and nightmares, and we command it to leave. We proclaim healing and freedom for his life, knowing that whom the Son sets free is free indeed John 8:36 WEB
We ask for wisdom and guidance for the family, that they may know how to support and encourage him in his journey towards healing and recovery.
We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth Acts 4:10 WEB, who is the only way to the Father John 14:6 WEB, and by His authority.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and declaring God's promises over your son's life. Stand firm in your faith, believing that God is able and willing to heal and protect him.
Remember, it is not by might, nor by power, but by God's Spirit Zechariah 4:6 WEB that we overcome. Keep praising God and trusting in His goodness, knowing that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28 WEB.
