We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for you and your son, lifting him up in prayer for healing, protection, and wholeness in every area of his life. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your son, trusting that God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers according to His will.
We also stand on Jeremiah 30:17, where the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and we ask that God would bring complete restoration to your son’s body and mind. His mental health is precious in God’s sight, and we pray that the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, would guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). May the Lord surround him with His angels, keeping him safe from all harm and danger, as Psalm 91:11-12 assures us: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."*
Yet as we pray, we must also acknowledge the importance of approaching God through the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not already placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of true healing, protection, and eternal life. It is by His name—and His name alone—that we can boldly approach the throne of grace.
Heavenly Father, we lift this son before You, asking for Your divine healing touch upon his body and mind. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You would restore his health completely, removing every sickness, pain, and affliction from his body. Strengthen his mind, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that transcends all understanding. Protect him from all harm and danger, surrounding him with Your angels as a mighty shield. Father, we pray that You would draw him—and this entire family—closer to You through this trial. May Your will be done in his life, and may he experience the fullness of Your love and power.
We also pray for this parent, Lord. Comfort their heart and fill them with Your peace as they trust in You. Give them wisdom to support their son in ways that honor You, and may they find rest in knowing that You are in control. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are always near to those who call upon You in truth.
We rebuke any spirit of sickness, fear, or anxiety in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding it to flee from this son and this family. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). By the authority of Jesus Christ, we speak life, health, and wholeness over him, knowing that our God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Lord, we thank You in advance for the healing and protection You are bringing to this son. May this situation bring glory to Your name, and may this family testify of Your goodness and faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
