Healing prayer

Please intercede for my grandson ### ### old boy who is hospitalized today. Pray that it is nothing major and he may get well soon. My Lord pls keep him in good health 🙏

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious grandson in prayer. Father God, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand upon him, touching every part of his body that needs restoration. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over , believing that You are able to make him whole.

Lord, we pray for the medical team attending to him, that You would grant them wisdom, discernment, and skill as they care for him. May their efforts be guided by Your perfect will, and may they see clearly what needs to be done. We ask that You would calm any fear or anxiety in ’s heart, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort his parents and family as they wait, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up any spiritual needs that may be present. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that needs to be addressed, we pray that You would reveal it and bring repentance and healing in those areas as well. Your Word tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed." May and his family draw closer to You through this trial, trusting in Your goodness and sovereignty.

If this prayer has not been lifted up in the name of Jesus Christ, we must emphasize that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or your family have not placed your faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life.

Father, we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over him, believing that he will rise from this sickness stronger in body and spirit. Strengthen his family as they stand in faith, and let this trial draw them all closer to You. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect plan. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We are joining you in prayer for your grandson right now. There is nothing quite like the weight of watching a child in a hospital bed, and we want you to know you are not carrying that weight alone. We are asking the Great Physician to bring healing and strength to his small body, and to give you steady peace while you wait.

It is good that he is in the hands of doctors and nurses who can monitor his condition. Sometimes the most spiritual thing we can do is accept the help that God has placed around us, even as we cry out to him. Our faith rests not in getting instant answers but in the God who never leaves us, no matter what the test results say.

You might consider asking a friend or someone from your church to come and sit with you for even an hour, just to break the loneliness of the waiting room. Sometimes having another person there to pray aloud or simply hold your hand makes the burden feel shared in a tangible way. And if your church has a prayer chain or a caring group, let them know the situation; knowing that many are praying by name can wrap your heart in a real sense of support.

Father, we bring this precious boy before you now. You see every detail of his body and the worry that has gripped his grandmother’s heart. We ask for your healing hand to rest upon him, for any serious cause to be ruled out, and for a swift recovery. Grant wisdom and compassion to the medical team, and fill this family with your unexplainable peace. We trust him to your care, in Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and no sick one brought into His presence is beyond the reach of His restoring hand. This little grandson, so young in years, is not beneath His notice, for the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is charged with virtue. He who took Peter’s wife’s mother by the hand and lifted her up from the fever can just as surely touch this dear child and make him whole. Healing must come before serving, and here is one who cannot serve yet, but lies prostrate, a fitting object for the compassion of Jesus.

It is a mercy that in our God, healing and forgiveness walk hand in hand; and when we bring our sick ones to Him, we may ask with boldness that the pardon of sin and the removal of malady may flow from the same pierced hand. What the physician cannot trace, the Great Physician knows fully, and whether this illness be light or heavy, it is not beyond His control. The power to heal is present with Christ when He is teaching, and faith comes by hearing; therefore, while you wait, let the Word of God be near you, for it is through the hearing of truth that the balm of Gilead often reaches the soul and the body together.

Do not be slow to trust, for He is able to heal, and though recovery may be gradual, strength returning by slow degrees, each small improvement will be a fresh claim on your gratitude. If it pleases the Lord to raise the boy up speedily, give Him the glory; if the illness lingers, let patience have its perfect work. In either case, the healing leaves from the tree of life change the lifeblood and make the nature other than it was, and we may look for a blessing to come from this affliction that will be more precious than mere bodily ease.

Pray with expectation, for the Lord’s hand is not shortened. Commend the child into the arms of Jesus, and may the Holy Spirit make you to feel that the great Conduit Head above is flowing with abundant streams of healing even now.

The sickness of a beloved child pierces the heart with a sharp grief, and it is right that we bring such burdens before the Lord of life. But in your urgent desire for his recovery, beware lest any whisper of the old idolatry creep in alongside your prayer. I mean those charms and amulets which some call harmless, saying they are made by Christians, yet they are nothing but the remnants of pagan darkness. If you are faithful, the Cross is your only weapon, your only remedy; any other resort to incantation, even under a thin veil of piety, defiles the soul and denies the power of God. Let no such thing be tied upon the child, for it is counted as idolatry, and the mother or grandmother who refuses them, even in anguish, wins a martyr's crown.

Pray without ceasing, but let your prayer be this: "Lord, Thou who lovest mankind, look upon my grandson in his weakness, and if it be for his good, raise him up speedily. Yet not mine, but Thy will be done." For we must remember that these brief afflictions are not the final word. The child sleeps in the hand of God, and whether he recover quickly or is called away, he shall not perish but rise again in greater glory, transformed with all creation into that incorruptible life which Christ has promised. This is not the cold comfort of the heathen who say, "What is done cannot be undone," but the bright hope of the Resurrection. God calls such parting a bountiful dealing; shall we then lament as those who have no faith?

Let your tears fall, but let them be wiped by gratitude. Entrust him to the great Physician who heals both body and soul, and while you wait, examine your own heart, lest some love of the things of this world have clouded your sight. Often God delays the outward healing to restore the inward vision. Now therefore, call upon the Lord with confidence, sign the child with the Cross, and commit him to the prayers of the Church, knowing that whatever befalls, he is held securely in the bosom of the Father.

It is a heavy thing when a child you love is in the hospital. That ache pulls at the deepest places of a grandparent’s heart. But there is something deeply right about bringing him straight to the Lord in prayer. Jesus loved to take children in His arms, and He said that whoever receives a little child in His name receives Him. So as you lift this boy to heaven, you are not just asking for healing, you are placing him into the very hands of the One who formed him.

I am joining you in that prayer. We will ask persistently, like Hannah who pleaded year after year before Samuel was born, or like the aging priest who kept praying for a son even in old age. God’s timing is not ours, and His ways are often hidden from us now, but He hears the cry of your heart.

Some healings come in an instant, with a single word. Others are gradual, unfolding like the man who saw people as trees walking before his sight was fully restored. Whatever path your grandson’s recovery takes, every bit of healing is a divine gift. So we pray boldly that this hospitalization reveals nothing serious, and that he will be well and home again soon.

Take courage from the example of David. When his child lay sick, he fasted and wept and pleaded with God, saying, “While the child is alive, I will seek the Lord, for He may be gracious to me.” He did not presume the outcome, but he hoped in God’s mercy right up to the end. We have the same privilege: to ask, to hope, to trust that this little boy is safe in the care of a Father who loves him even more than you do.

May the Lord keep him in good health, may He quiet every fear, and may you sense His nearness as you wait. I am praying with you.
