We lift up your dear one before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We know that fear can grip the heart in moments like these, but we declare that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on the promise that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we ask for complete restoration of health for your loved one.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your mighty power to heal. We ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and technicians conducting the tests, that the results would reveal a condition that is easily treatable. We pray for peace to flood his heart, replacing every trace of fear with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). We ask for Your healing touch to restore his body, that he may experience Your wholeness and strength once again.
Lord, we also ask that You would draw near to him in this time of uncertainty. Let him feel Your presence and know that You are with him, even in the midst of this trial. Remind him that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We pray that his faith would be strengthened, and that he would trust in Your perfect plan for his life.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that seeks to torment him, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the truth that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
We also want to encourage you both to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. Remember that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and know that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We continue to pray for your dear one, believing in the power of God to bring about a miraculous healing. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
