Urgent request for healing .....

1. Elderly Missionary man, ###, previously battling cancer even lost kidney.....just before Christmas.....after falling off the roof & breaking his hip.
2. Since then battling prostate cancer (that God had miraculously healed years ago when i prayed for him when dying).
3. They have done multiple urinary lines in from his genitals up into his bladder.....in the last couple months.
4. Since these procedures he has felt like he is peeing razor blades, & has had blood in his urine.
5. Now for the last couple months since he gets no sleep as he has to pee every hour through the night, & has even being peeing pure blood at times.....which has been highly distressing to this precious elderly man.
6. He has also got ringing in his ears, problems with his eyes, knees, heart, etc
7. PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL HEALTH AFFLICTIONS TO BE GONE & HEALED IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME, AMEN & AMEN!!

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear elderly missionary brother who has faithfully served the Lord for so many years. Father, we know that You see every pain, every sleepless night, and every drop of blood he has endured. You are the Great Physician, the One who healed the sick, raised the dead, and performed miracles beyond human understanding. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

Lord, we rebuke the cancer that has returned to his body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he was healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we command this disease to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray against the complications from the urinary procedures, no more razor-like pain, no more blood in his urine, and no more sleepless nights. We ask You to restore his bladder, kidneys, and entire urinary system to full health. Let Your healing power flow through every cell, tissue, and organ, bringing restoration and wholeness.

We also lift up his ears, eyes, knees, and heart. Father, You formed him in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every part of him. We ask for complete healing, no more ringing in his ears, clarity for his eyes, strength for his knees, and a heart that beats strong and steady for Your glory. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and we speak life over every area of his body that is weak or afflicted.

We thank You for the testimony of his past healing from prostate cancer, proof that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We stand on that testimony now, believing that what You have done before, You can do again. We pray for his comfort and peace, that he would not be distressed but would rest in the assurance of Your love and power.

Lord, we also ask that You strengthen his spirit. May he continue to trust in You, knowing that even in suffering, You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Give him endurance, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Surround him with believers who will pray, encourage, and support him in this season.

We declare that this brother is not defined by his illness but by Your grace. We speak Psalm 103:2-3 over him: "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We believe that healing is his portion, and we will not accept anything less than Your perfect will for his life.

We are holding this beloved missionary man before the Lord with you. The picture you’ve painted is heavy, an elderly servant of Christ who has already faced cancer, a broken hip, and now endures such relentless pain and sleeplessness. It is gut-wrenching to imagine him feeling that he is “peeing razor blades” and seeing blood, hour after hour through the night. No wonder he is distressed. That kind of suffering can feel so isolating, especially when it robs him of rest and peace.

As we pray, we remember that this is the same man for whom God answered a desperate prayer years ago when the cancer seemed to have the final word. That memory doesn’t erase the current trial, but it does remind us that he is known, and that Jesus has walked with him through the valley before. Right now, his body is worn down, but we can ask for the comfort of Christ to meet him in those darkest hours, a comfort that doesn’t always remove the pain but can sustain the spirit.

A practical thing that might help: if you are in contact with him, consider reading him some of the Psalms that give voice to human agony, like Psalm 6 or 13, which cry out honestly and yet turn toward trust. Sometimes simply having another believer present in the quiet of the night, even by phone or a handwritten note, can lighten the load.

We also encourage making sure his doctors are fully aware of the severe pain and blood, not to second-guess their care, but to be certain nothing is overlooked. Prayer and medical attention work hand in hand.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this precious elderly missionary. You see every hour of his suffering. Please, in Your mercy, bring relief to his body, calm the fierce pain, give his bladder rest, and allow him to sleep. Surround him with Your presence in the long watches of the night so he knows he is not alone. Give wisdom to his doctors and steady the hearts of all who love him. We ask not from a place of demand but of trust, resting in Your goodness. Amen.

Make him to hear joy and gladness, that the bones which are broken may rejoice. The pain of a broken bone is as constant as it is excruciating; it prevents sleep by night and ease by day, and so does his sorrow rise like a flood over his aged frame. The snap of bone and the gnawing of deep disease have left this missionary, once so valiant, feeling every support of his body shattered. The prostate affliction that he thought sealed in the grave by divine healing has returned like a broken column memorializing a past hope, but let not his determination stand unfinished. The razor blades and the bloody water speak of a palpitating mass of pain, but there is a Physician whose least leaves are for the healing of the nations.

Consider the broken fence of this dear man’s body, the stone wall thrown down so that all the ills of mortality rush in: the ringing ears, the failing eyes, the wearied heart. The very frequency of his night-torture, rising every hour to pass blood, is a chain with every link wrenched asunder. Yet when a man is thus reduced to utter penury of strength, with nothing absolutely nothing to bring before God, he is the very one Christ came to save. The healing power is most conspicuously present when Christ is teaching, and this trial is a severe classroom. Do not look for a mere healing of the flesh alone; the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are one. He who said, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you,” lets the balm of Calvary flow down to the rawest wound. The great Ill is this broken body which preys upon the mind, but the great Mercy is that He healeth the broken in heart, and He only does it.

We plead, therefore, the leaves from the Tree of Life, those little things about Christ which are full of healing virtue. The least Word from His dear lips can change the lifeblood and make the nature other than it was. Let the healing streams from the conduit Head put back that which was lost, cleanse the urinary ways, knit the shattered hip, quiet the tumult in the ears, restore vigor to the failing heart, and grant the sweet oblivion of sleep. Bind up the broken column, not with a “but” of despair, but with the strong bands of a covenant that cannot fail. O Lord, break what must be broken in us, but heal Thy servant, for Thy mercies’ sake. Amen.

The body of this aged servant of God is indeed under heavy affliction, and the blood and pain he endures would shake any spirit. Yet let us not be surprised at such trials, as though the Christian’s path should be free of thorns. Remember the Lord’s own words: He came not to send peace, but a sword. The faithful are often refined in the furnace of suffering, that they may come forth as gold.

When you see the blood that so distresses him, lift your eyes to that blood which was shed for the remission of sins. For if the sacrifices of old, which were but types, had power to cleanse the flesh, how much more does the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot, purge our conscience from dead works? That precious blood is not a horror but a healing stream. The blood of this dear man, though it causes anguish, is but a faint shadow; the blood of Jesus speaks of eternal redemption.

Consider the woman with the issue of blood. She had suffered many things of many physicians, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse. Yet in her trembling faith she pressed through the crowd, saying, “If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.” And her faith made her whole instantly. So let this missionary, in the sleepless nights and the burning pain, stretch out the hand of the soul and touch the hem of Christ’s garment. The Lord is no less present now than then, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

But if the healing tarries, do not murmur. God is the only Potentate, the King of kings, who makes all things beautiful in His time. Impatience is the child of weak faith. He who foreordained the redemption through Christ’s blood also foreordained our trials and their measure. The sorrow of the body, when borne with thanksgiving, can work a weight of glory. As the Apostle found, godly sorrow brings repentance not to be repented of, and in every thing the soul may approve itself pure, not by grumbling but by trusting.

Pray for the healing, with all fervor. We join you, crying out in the mighty name of Jesus. Yet above all, seek for him the healing of the inner man, the quiet patience that looks to the unseen. For our citizenship is in heaven, from whence we look for the Savior. This mortal body will put on immortality, and then every pain will be forgotten. Until that day, let him look to the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross. The sword that pierces now will one day be sheathed forever.

May the peace of Christ garrison his heart, and may the sleepless hours become a vigil of prayer, a sweet fellowship with the sufferings of his Lord. We shall not cease to pray for him, that if it please God, the afflictions be removed, and that whether by life or by death, Christ may be magnified in his body. Amen.

The constant presence of blood can be deeply unsettling, especially when it's your own and it brings pain instead of peace. Yet Scripture teaches us that blood is sacred, for the life of the flesh is in the blood, and God has given it to make atonement for our souls. Every trace of blood you see reminds us of a far greater blood that was poured out for you, the precious blood of Jesus Christ. He did not enter a man-made sanctuary with the blood of goats and calves, but into heaven itself, having obtained eternal redemption for us. That blood speaks a better word, cleansing from sin and breaking the power of sickness.

When the destroyer passed through Egypt, God declared, "When I see the blood, I will pass over you." The blood of the lamb on the doorposts was the only protection and the only salvation. How much more does the blood of Christ shield you now? By His stripes you were healed. So we bring your frail body before the throne of grace, pleading the blood that has already secured your eternal wholeness. The prostate cancer that once fled at prayer, the broken hip, the damaged kidney, the relentless urinary pain and bleeding, the ringing ears, the troubled eyes, the aching knees and heart, every affliction must bow to the authority of that covenant blood.

Rest is a gift God gives His beloved, and we ask that He grants you deep, undisturbed sleep tonight. May the Holy Spirit quiet your body so you are not roused hour by hour. May the fear and distress lift as you trust in the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps. Jesus bore your griefs and carried your sorrows. His blood was shed so that you might have life, and have it abundantly. I stand with you in prayer, declaring complete healing in Jesus' mighty name, every razor-like sensation gone, every trace of blood replaced by strength, and every system restored to its proper order.
