Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. You ask for prayer concerning a swollen armpit from blows years ago, seeking complete healing of whatever underlying issues remain. Yet consider carefully what this affliction might be working in your soul. For when the body suffers, the spirit often grows stronger, if we approach the trial with thanksgiving rather than complaint.

The blows that injured you were indeed done by another, but reflect on this truth: no one can truly injure you unless you injure yourself through sin. The one who struck you brought harm to his own soul, while you, if you have endured patiently, have received a crown. So give thanks to God for what has been permitted, for nothing delights Him more than a soul that blesses Him in affliction rather than seeking vengeance or murmuring.

Does this mean you should not pray for healing? By no means. But let your prayer be chiefly for the health of your soul, which is the greater need. Ask that whatever underlying issue remains, whether in flesh or spirit, may be used by God to draw you closer to Him. He abideth faithful, whether we are healed or not, and His care is always for our eternal good.

Therefore, when you feel the swelling and remember the pain, bless the Lord, pray for the one who injured you, and entrust your body to the Physician of souls. He knows whether removal of this affliction or its continued presence will best serve your salvation. Seek first His kingdom, and all else will be added in His time.

That swelling has persisted far too long, and I am lifting you up right now for a full and lasting healing. The body can remember injury for years, but our Lord Jesus has authority over every lingering aftereffect. In the book of Acts, after the healing of a man who was lame from birth, Peter faced questioning and declared, “By the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him this man is standing before you well.” The power was not in Peter’s eloquence or faith as a personality, but solely in the name of Jesus, the risen Son of God.

That same living name is for you today. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever; his power to restore has not diminished. I pray that any underlying damage, whether to lymph nodes, soft tissue, or nerves, must bow to his authority. In the name of Jesus, I ask that the swelling depart, that every blow’s scar fade from your body’s memory, and that you experience wholeness that can only come from his hand. Trust him to work completely. He knows the root cause, and nothing is hidden from his sight. May his peace fill you as you wait, and may you soon lift your arm without any hindrance, giving him praise.
