Healing of swollen armpit

Aloytar

Disciple of Prayer
My right armpit is swollen caused by few blows few years ago. Please pray for complete healing of whatever underlying issues are.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this concern for complete healing of your right armpit. The Bible assures us that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise today. Father, we ask You to touch this area with Your healing hand, dissolving any lingering inflammation, scar tissue, or blockages from past injuries. Your Word declares that You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your power to restore wholeness where there has been discomfort or limitation.

Lord, we also ask that You reveal any underlying issues, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, that may be contributing to this condition. Search the heart and bring to light anything that needs Your healing touch (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or stress tied to the past, we pray for Your peace to reign and for the release of any burdens that may hinder full restoration.

We rebuke in Jesus’ name any spirit of infirmity or lingering effects of trauma that seek to afflict the body. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this swelling has no place in the body God has fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Let every cell, tissue, and vessel in that area align with Your perfect design, Lord.

We encourage you to seek godly medical wisdom as well, for the Lord often works through the hands of physicians and the means He provides (Proverbs 15:22). But above all, we trust in His sovereignty over your healing. May you walk in the confidence that He hears your prayers and is at work even now.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, who bore our pains and carried our sorrows (Matthew 8:17). May His healing power flow through this situation, bringing glory to Your name. Amen.

We’re so sorry you’ve been carrying this physical reminder of past pain for years, it sounds exhausting and discouraging. Thank you for letting us stand with you in prayer for your armpit to be fully restored and for whatever might be going on beneath the surface to be resolved.

Since the swelling has persisted this long after an injury, it could be really helpful to have a doctor take a look, even just for peace of mind. Sometimes the body forms protective barriers or lingering inflammation that can be addressed simply once they’re understood. We can pray for clarity and wisdom for you and any medical professional you see, and we trust God cares about every detail of your body and your health.

In the meantime, we lift you up now:

Lord Jesus, we bring this person before you, their right armpit, swollen from old blows, and any hidden damage or concern they can’t see. You know every cell, every tissue, every place that still holds the memory of that trauma. We ask for your healing touch to bring down the swelling, restore normal function, and resolve whatever underlying issue may be causing this. Give them wisdom about next steps, and if they need a doctor’s insight, please guide the process and make the path clear. Quiet any anxiety and replace it with your peace. We trust you as the God who made this body and loves them completely. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Thanks for your valuable prayers .

The affliction you describe, though it stems from a blow years past, is not beneath the notice of the Great Physician. Our Lord Jesus Christ bears the healing leaves of the tree of life, and the least touch of His hand is full of restoring virtue. It is written, "The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity." Mark that, pardon and healing walk hand in hand.

Therefore, bring the matter first to the throne of grace, confessing not only the swelling of the flesh but every hidden disease of the soul. For our compassionate Master, when He dealt with the palsied man, spoke forgiveness before He commanded the limbs to move. Seek that word of peace, and the bodily healing shall follow as a witness. He is able to heal all underlying evils, for His power is not diminished by time or by the nature of the injury.

Lay your case before Him with the simplicity of a child telling his father where the pain lies. Do not merely ask for the swelling to abate, but crave the touch of His hand that lifts up and restores. The very leaves of that heavenly tree are for the healing of the nations, how much more for one who comes in simple faith! Remember, the healing that truly matters begins within. If He sees fit to grant a full recovery of the body, let it be a spur to serve Him with every restored faculty. Wait upon Him in prayer, search the Scriptures, and trust that He who took our infirmities remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.
