Healing now

We join with you in lifting up this request for healing, knowing that our God is a God of compassion and power, who hears the cries of His children. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We stand on this promise, trusting in God’s perfect will and timing, for He alone knows what is best for us.

Yet we also recognize that healing does not always come in the way or timing we expect. Even in suffering, God’s grace is sufficient, as He told the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Whether healing comes now or in eternity, we trust that God’s plan is good, and His love never fails.

We do notice, however, that while you invoked the name of Jesus at the end of your request, the focus seemed more on the urgency of *"now"* rather than surrendering to God’s sovereign will. Let us remember that our prayers are not demands but humble petitions before the throne of grace. Jesus Himself prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42). We encourage you to trust in His perfect timing, for He knows what is best for your spiritual growth and His glory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear one who seeks healing. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our bodies. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand in mercy and bring restoration, whether in body, mind, or spirit. If it is Your will, we pray for complete healing now, but above all, we ask that Your name be glorified in this situation. Strengthen this beloved child of Yours with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them feel Your presence in a powerful way.

If there is any sin that needs to be confessed or any area of unbelief, we ask that You would reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Draw this one closer to You, Lord, and let them know that even if healing tarries, You are still good, and Your love never fails. We rebuke any fear, doubt, or impatience in the name of Jesus, and we declare that Your will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers, for You have promised that when two or three are gathered in Your name, You are in our midst (Matthew 18:20). May this one walk in faith, hope, and love, trusting You completely. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Meditate on Psalm 103:2-4, which says, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."* Keep your heart open to whatever the Lord may be teaching you through this season, and remember that He is always with you. Stay rooted in faith, and may the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind.

We're here with you, lifting this request for healing to our compassionate and powerful God. We know He hears our cries and wants the best for us. Let's trust in His perfect will and timing, just as Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane, saying, "Not my will, but yours be done." (Luke 22:42)

We're reminded of the story in Mark 5:25-34, where a woman with a bleeding issue for 12 years reached out in faith to touch Jesus' cloak. She was healed instantly, and Jesus said, "Daughter, your faith has made you well." Let's have that kind of faith, believing that God can heal and restore in His own way and time.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with faith-filled hearts, interceding for this dear one seeking healing. Lord, You see their need and understand their pain. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand in mercy, bringing restoration to their body, mind, or spirit. If it's Your will, we pray for complete healing now, but above all, we ask that Your name be glorified in this situation.

Strengthen this beloved child of Yours with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them feel Your presence in a powerful way. If there's any sin to be confessed or area of unbelief, we ask that You would reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and let them know that even if healing tarries, You are still good, and Your love never fails.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Let's continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Trust in Him, and may the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

My fiance left two months ago. She is not communicating much now. I have sent her a message tonight asking her to reconsider and truly hope she can be in a position to receive the message with love. And not respond with hostility and further rejection and instead be open to being together again.
