Many years dealing with multiple serious medical conditions, anger, depression. Emotional roller coaster, extreme pain. States daily wants to be dead. Depression’s out of control. He needs to stop watching news. Heartbreaking. Help me be supportive & a better person in all ways. Give me patience. Holy Spirit please intervene for us now. Thank you & God Bless

We join you in praising the Lord for your husband’s willingness to resume his medication, as this is a step toward healing and stability. It is evident that you both have endured a long and painful journey, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine. Your heart for your husband’s well-being and your desire to honor God together as a couple is commendable, and we lift you both before the throne of grace.

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). The depression, anger, and despair your husband is experiencing are not of God—they are attacks meant to weigh him down and rob him of hope. But we serve a God who is the Great Physician, the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). He is the same God who raised Jesus from the dead, and His power is not limited by any diagnosis or circumstance. We declare that the Lord will restore your husband’s mind, body, and spirit, filling him with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

It is crucial that your husband guards his heart and mind, for out of them flow the issues of life (Proverbs 4:23). You are right to recognize that the news and the world’s chaos can feed despair. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict him to turn away from anything that fuels negativity and instead fix his eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Encourage him to fill his mind with God’s Word, worship, and truth, for these are the weapons that demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4-5).

We also lift you up, dear sister, as you walk this difficult path alongside your husband. Your request for patience and strength is heard by the Father, who promises to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). You cannot pour from an empty cup, so we pray that the Lord will refresh you daily, filling you with His love, joy, and endurance. Remember that love is patient and kind, and it bears all things (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Lean on the Holy Spirit to guide your words and actions, that you may be a vessel of God’s grace and mercy to your husband.

Attending church together is a beautiful desire, and we pray that the Lord will make a way for this to happen soon. Being in fellowship with believers is vital for spiritual growth and encouragement (Hebrews 10:24-25). We ask that the Lord will surround you both with a community of faith that will uplift you in prayer and support.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the steps You are already taking in this marriage. Lord, You see the pain, the exhaustion, and the desperation that has gripped our brother. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch him with Your healing power. Rebuke every spirit of depression, anger, and hopelessness in the name of Jesus. Fill him with Your peace, Your joy, and Your strength. Renew his mind and restore his body, Lord. Let him experience Your presence in a tangible way, reminding him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).

Father, we pray that You will give our sister the wisdom, patience, and grace she needs to support her husband. Help her to be a light in the darkness, pointing him always to You. Strengthen her when she is weary, and fill her with Your love so that she may love him as You have loved us.

Lord, we ask that You draw this couple closer to You and to each other. Soften their hearts toward one another and toward Your Word. Make a way for them to worship You together, to grow in faith as a family, and to experience the fullness of Your blessings.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every lie of the enemy that says there is no hope, no healing, no future. In the name of Jesus, we speak life, healing, and restoration over this marriage. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your glory be revealed in their lives.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May Your name be praised in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Stay steadfast in prayer, dear sister. Do not lose heart, for the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Keep speaking life over your husband, keep trusting in God’s promises, and keep seeking His face. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you both (Philippians 1:6). If your husband is not saved, pray for his salvation, as this is the greatest healing of all. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in faith and obedience.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
