We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your plea for healing in both mind and heart. The pain of abuse and trauma can leave deep scars, not just in the body, but in the soul, haunting memories, sleepless nights, and a heart weighed down by sorrow. But we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is the Great Physician, the One who binds up wounds and restores what has been shattered.
First, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that may have taken root in your mind, lies that say you are defined by what was done to you, that you are unworthy of peace, or that God has abandoned you. The Word of God declares that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that you are redeemed by the blood of Jesus (Ephesians 1:7), and that nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). The trauma you endured was not His will, but He can turn even the darkest moments into something that brings glory to His name. We stand against the spirit of fear, shame, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to flee.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a biblical counselor, or a trusted Christian therapist, who can walk with you through this healing journey. The Lord often uses His people as vessels of His grace and truth. Do not isolate yourself in this pain; allow others to bear your burdens with you (Galatians 6:2).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our dear brother/sister, lifting up their mind and heart to You. Lord, You see every wound, every memory that brings distress, and every tear that has fallen. We ask that You would bring Your healing touch to their soul. Clear their mind of tormenting thoughts, O God, and replace them with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Bind up their broken heart, Lord, and pour in the oil of joy instead of mourning (Isaiah 61:3).
We declare that the blood of Jesus has power to cleanse every stain of shame, guilt, or fear. Where the enemy has sown lies, plant Your truth, Lord. Where there is darkness, let Your light shine. We ask that You would restore their joy, renew their strength, and fill them with hope for the future. Help them to forgive those who have harmed them, not because what was done was right, but because forgiveness is the path to freedom (Colossians 3:13).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment as they walk this road of healing. Surround them with Your presence, remind them of Your promises, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways. May they come to know You not just as Savior, but as Healer, Redeemer, and Friend.

The Lord has heard your prayer for a mind cleared and a heart made peaceful, and He is the God who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.
There is a promise given for such distress as yours, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." This perfect peace is not found in forgetting by your own strength, nor in any wisdom of man, but in staying the mind upon Christ and trusting Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even in this dark world of sin and sorrow. When memories surge and press upon you, to do the will of Jesus and to rest your thoughts upon Him is rest. It is the still small voice of God which alone confers the peace which passes all understanding.
Know also that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the gentlest touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. It is written, the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. He took our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself at Calvary, and there the healing balm is found. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction, and when Jesus heals He says, your sins are forgiven you. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul. Bear your sorrow with Him and see what perfect peace you will enjoy, even with sorrows surging round. He can breathe into your soul at this very moment a peace with God which springs from perfect remission through His atoning blood.

O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, rise upon this wounded one with healing in Your wings. You see the distressing memories left by abuse and trauma, every painful thought that haunts the mind. Lay Your hand upon this broken heart and heal it, for You alone can heal. Keep this dear soul in perfect peace as the mind is stayed on You. Let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within, and let the healing leaves of Christ be applied to every wound. Grant inward peace that steals over the soul, a renewal of peace from lips that cannot lie, through the blood which has made full atonement. Teach the heart to trust You more fully, and give rest from troubling thoughts. Keep this one in Your keeping, safe in Jesus, till earthly struggles cease and You call to Heaven's perfect peace. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior and Prince of Peace, Amen.
