We hear your heart and we are lifting you up together before the Lord for healing from trauma and for the way it has been affecting your sleep and other areas of your life. Trauma leaves deep wounds, and sleep is often where those wounds speak the loudest, but we serve a God who sees all that you have carried and who draws near to heal.
We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 You are not forgotten or unseen in this suffering. The Lord understands the impact this has had on your mind and body, and He desires to bring restoration and wholeness, not just to your spirit but to your daily life and rest.
We also pray for your sleep, for the Lord knows our need for rest and offers His peace in place of anxiety and restless thoughts. We take comfort that In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 and that In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2 We pray that He will quiet your mind at night and guard your heart with that surpassing peace.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and find true healing and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven, made children of God, and invited to bring every burden directly to Him. We encourage you to call upon His name and trust Him as your Savior and Healer.

The Lord has heard your cry concerning this trauma and the way it has followed you into the night and into other parts of life, and He is not distant from your sorrow.
There is One who healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, but a wounded spirit is a deeper ill, and only the still small voice of God can confer that peace which passeth all understanding. The promise stands that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch, His very name, His blood, has healing virtue in it, to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our Lord, and that peace is the root of all other peace.
You speak of sleep broken and rest taken away. The Scripture says, So He giveth His beloved sleep. The demon of restlessness does not come to that man's bed who has a quiet conscience, a conscience right with God, whose mind is stayed on Him because he trusts in Him. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You. This perfect peace is not only for Heaven hereafter, but a present possession to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even with sorrows surging round. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Bear your sorrow with Him, cast your trauma and your sleepless thoughts upon Him who watches over you, for in Jesus keeping we are safe.
May the Lord grant you that sleep of contentment and that sleep of security which belongs to His beloved, a quietness of heart that comes from knowing you are forgiven, accepted, and kept. May He give you, even here, a foretaste of that Paradise where perfect rest shall be unbroken.

Let the healing leaves of Christ be laid upon the heart, and let inward peace steal over the soul. Your request for prayer has been heard, and we are bringing your pain before the Lord with you. Trauma leaves deep wounds, and it is understandable that it would affect your sleep and spill over into other areas of your life. God sees all of this and He is near to those whose hearts are wounded.
Scripture reminds us that He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep, and that He does not let your foot be moved without His care. When sleep is broken or rest feels far away, it can help to remember that your guard does not sleep. You are kept even in the night, even when you cannot rest. At the same time we are called to guard our own hearts and to stand steadfast and unmoveable, not in our own strength, but by staying close to Christ and watching with a sober mind that looks to Him.
We pray that God will bring healing to the places where trauma has hurt you, that He will calm the memories and fears that disturb your sleep, and that He will restore rest to your body and peace to your mind. We pray that He will renew strength in every area that has been affected and teach you to rest in His watchful care day and night.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and Healer.
