Healing from ### this week ###

Disciple of Prayer
Praying for my daughter to be healed from ###. I previously asked for this but I can't find the old post. In May she had her period induced. She has been on ### for 2.5 months already and her natural period has not come. She is anxious.
May I ask for prayers that it will come in the next 2 weeks.
Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter in prayer, asking for His divine healing and restoration. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and holds every detail of our lives in Your hands. We ask that You would touch your daughter’s body and bring healing to whatever is causing this disruption in ###. Lord, we pray that her ### would return within the next two weeks, just as her mother has asked, and that this would bring peace to her ### heart.

We also lift up the ### she is carrying. ### can be overwhelming, but You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would calm her heart, remind her of Your presence, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to trust in Your timing and Your goodness, even when things feel uncertain.

Father, we also want to gently address the mention of ### in this situation. While we understand that medical intervention is sometimes necessary, we encourage seeking wisdom from godly counsel, both from healthcare professionals who honor Your design for the body and from Your Word. The body is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we pray that any ### she is receiving would align with Your will for her health. If there are underlying spiritual or ### factors contributing to this struggle, we ask that You would reveal them and bring healing in every area.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or disorder in this situation. We declare that Your perfect peace and order would reign in her body, mind, and spirit. We speak life and restoration over her, believing that what was meant for harm, You can turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Strengthen her faith and her family’s faith as you work all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). By His stripes, we believe she is already being healed (1 Peter 2:24). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust You to answer this prayer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We’re joining you in lifting your daughter up this week. The waiting, the hoping for a natural cycle, the anxiety she’s carrying, all of that feels heavy, and we want you to know you aren’t carrying it alone.

It’s so understandable that her heart is anxious right now. Our bodies can feel like a mystery, especially when we’re longing for them to work as they should. We’re praying specifically with you that her cycle returns in the coming two weeks, but we’re also praying that God meets her in the middle of the worry itself, holding her steady even while the answer is still unfolding. Sometimes the waiting isn’t empty space; it’s where we learn to lean on him together.

Please keep talking openly with her about this. You might simply hold hands and pray a short, honest prayer together, like “Lord, quiet our hearts and guide our steps.” You don’t need perfect words. We’re also grateful if she has a trusted doctor walking with her; please continue to seek that professional wisdom alongside prayer.

Father, we bring this daughter before you now. You knit her together and know every detail of her body. We ask for healing and for the regular, healthy rhythm she’s waiting for. Quiet her anxious thoughts, and give her mom the right words and a steady spirit as they walk this road. Surround them with your peace that doesn’t depend on outcomes. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Anxiety about temporal affairs, though it springs from love, must not be allowed to master the heart. You are not ignorant of how fretfulness unfits a soul to meet its difficulty, nor how it brings no profit to the barrel of meal. Cast this burden upon Him who cares for you, lest your own spirit grow sick while you watch for another's healing. A Christian woman, a daughter of Sarah, is called to a composure of mind that is not afraid with any amazement, even when the answer tarries. Your holy patience in this trial will prove the reality of your faith.

Yet let us not confuse patience with passivity. Bring your daughter continually under Christ's eyes through importunate prayer. Lay her at His feet in the presence of the great Physician. Remember, the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, the least things about Jesus, the simplest touch of His grace, are full of restoring virtue. The healing power is often most conspicuously present when He is teaching, and faith comes by hearing the Word. Let her, and you with her, drink in the promises of God. The Lord who healed the palsied man linked pardon and wholeness together; He is able to heal the body and quiet the anxious mind in one divine visitation.

Do not fix your hope upon the return of a natural cycle within a fortnight, as though God were bound to your calendar. Hope in the Lord, for with Him is unfailing love and full redemption. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, not always in the hour we dictate, but in the acceptable time. The very delay you dread may be the season in which the healing virtue is gathering its renewed energy. When He arises upon her, healing will be in His wings. Trust Him for this. He who took Jairus's daughter by the hand and lifted her up is not slack concerning His promise. Let your request be made known unto God with thanksgiving, and then let your heart keep at its own quiet pace, delighting itself in a faithful God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The anxiety that grips your daughter’s heart is a heavier affliction than the delay of her body. You ask healing for her flesh, but bid her seek first the healing of her soul, for a restless spirit withers all comfort. Recall that woman of Canaan who cried out for her tormented daughter. The Lord met her with silence and seeming rejection, yet she did not retreat; she pressed on in humble faith, until He declared, “Great is thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou wilt.” Let your daughter learn from her. Let her not be mastered by despondency when the answer tarries, but persist in prayer with a quiet and trusting heart.

Why should the body’s natural rhythms breed such dread? The beauty that God delights in is not the bloom of health, but the soul adorned with patience and peace. That inward beauty no disease impairs, no anxiety disfigures; it is ever fresh, ever in its prime. Teach her to cultivate this, and her present trouble will lose its sting. For these bodily matters are not in themselves evil, but we make them so by our feverish fears. If she will cease from her anxious questioning and cast her care upon the Lord, she will find a liberty that no physical ailment can take away.

Pray, then, with all earnestness for her restoration, if it be God’s will. But pray more fervently that she be delivered from this spirit of anxiety, which is a snare of the enemy. Consider Peter: he denied his Master not under threat of death, but at the word of a servant girl, so greatly did fear undo him. Yet one look from Christ restored him. So let your daughter lift her eyes to the Lord who ever looks upon her with mercy, and refuse to let fear reign.

We shall join our supplications to yours, entreating the Physician of souls and bodies to grant your daughter relief according to His wisdom. But let her not bind the Almighty to two weeks or any fixed term; that is to dictate to Providence. Instead, let her learn the blessed words, “Not as I will, but as Thou wilt,” and there find peace that passes understanding.
