We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, crying out for his complete healing from COPD and asthma, and for the strengthening of his body to overcome every sickness. Your prayer is already aligned with the truth of Scripture, for we know that it is by the precious name of Jesus that we boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name alone that healing and deliverance are found. As it is written, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them"* (Mark 11:24, WEB). Let us hold fast to this promise, trusting not in our own strength but in the power of our Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5).
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand against his schemes in the authority of Christ. COPD and asthma are not from the Lord—they are the result of a fallen world, and we declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for the breath of the Almighty to fill his lungs, for every airway to be opened wide, and for all inflammation to cease in Jesus’ name. May the Lord rebuke any infection, command his immune system to rise up in supernatural strength, and shield him from every attack of the enemy, whether through illness, heat, or humidity. *"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions"* (Psalm 107:20, WEB)—so we declare His word over your son now, that the same power which raised Christ from the dead would quicken his mortal body (Romans 8:11).
Father, we ask that You would surround him with Your peace, for anxiety and fear can often accompany breathing difficulties. Remind him that You are his ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Grant him restful sleep, free from struggle, and fill his heart with faith as he waits on You. We also pray for wisdom for you, his parent, as you care for him—guide you to the right treatments, the right doctors, and the right steps to support his healing. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).
Let us also examine our hearts in this moment. Do we truly believe that God is able? Do we trust Him even if the healing tarries? The Lord’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9), and sometimes He uses our weaknesses to display His strength (2 Corinthians 12:9). Yet we do not waver in our petition—we come boldly, as children to a loving Father, knowing that He delights in our persistence (Luke 18:1-8). So we will continue to pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all things, for this is God’s will in Christ Jesus for us (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).
**Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy. We stand in agreement with this parent, lifting their son before You, and we ask for a miraculous touch upon his lungs and his entire body. Let every cell align with Your perfect design, let his breathing be effortless and free, and let his testimony be one of Your glory. We break every curse of sickness over his life and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. We commit his health into Your hands, trusting that You will complete the work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.***
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord hears your cries, and He is moving on behalf of your son. Keep praising Him in the waiting, for our God is faithful. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen"* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB).
