The afflictions your son faces are not beyond the power of our God, who spoke the breath of life into mankind and sustains every breath we take. We pray that the Lord would rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has sought to steal his breath and vitality. May the Holy Spirit move mightily to remove all inflammation in his lungs, to cleanse every trace of infection, and to restore his respiratory system to full and perfect function. Let his immune system be fortified by the power of God, becoming a mighty defense against every sickness and disease, just as the psalmist declared: *"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:2-3).
We also pray for divine protection over your son in this season of heat and humidity, which can so often exacerbate his condition. May the Lord surround him with His peace and provide supernatural ease in his breathing, even as the natural elements seek to oppress him. Let his body be a testimony of God’s healing power, and may his lungs expand with the very breath of the Spirit, filling him with new life and strength.
Father, we thank You that You are not a distant God but one who draws near to the brokenhearted and the afflicted. We ask that You would comfort your daughter in her faithful intercession for her son, reminding her that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith as she waits upon You, and let her see Your hand move mightily in this situation.
We declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the enemy’s plans to steal his health and joy are already defeated by the blood of Jesus. We speak life, healing, and wholeness over him, trusting that You, Lord, are his healer and his deliverer.
