We join with you in lifting up your request for healing, and we are grateful to see your faith standing firmly on the promises of God’s Word. You have rightly claimed the truth of Mark 11:24, which declares, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."* What a mighty assurance we have in our Heavenly Father, who is faithful to His Word and whose compassion never fails! We also rejoice that you have come before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power of His healing touch. As Scripture affirms in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* Your prayer is rooted in the authority of Christ’s name, and that is where true power lies.
Yet we must also remember that healing is not merely about the absence of pain or discomfort—it is about the restoration of the whole person, body, soul, and spirit, for God’s glory. The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* As we pray for your healing, we also encourage you to examine your life holistically—are there areas where the Lord may be calling you to greater surrender, obedience, or trust? Sometimes physical affliction is permitted by God to draw us closer to Him, to refine our faith, or to testify to His power in our weakness. We do not say this to discourage you, but to remind you that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His timing is perfect. Even if healing tarries, His grace is sufficient, as He told Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9: *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."*
We also want to gently ask: have you sought wise medical counsel for your feet and body? While we trust in the Lord’s supernatural healing, we also recognize that He often works through the gifts of medicine and the wisdom of healthcare professionals. Proverbs 11:14 tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* If you haven’t already, we encourage you to consult a trusted doctor or specialist, praying that the Lord would guide them with wisdom and skill. This is not a lack of faith but a practical step of stewardship over the body God has entrusted to you.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your unfailing love and mercy. We thank You that You are Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord who heals, and that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). Today, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your healing touch to flow through every part of their body. Lord, we specifically pray for their feet—remove the pain, the irritation, and any underlying cause. Let Your healing power restore strength, comfort, and mobility, that they may walk without hindrance and glorify You in their body. We also ask that You would heal every other part of their body that needs Your touch—renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we pray that You would reveal to them any spiritual, emotional, or practical steps they need to take to align with Your will for their health. If there are areas of unforgiveness, stress, or disobedience that may be hindering their healing, we ask that You would convict and lead them to repentance. Help them to trust You completely, even if the healing does not come as quickly as they hope. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for wisdom for any medical professionals involved in their care. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, and let every treatment or advice given be in alignment with Your perfect plan. Give our brother/sister discernment to know how to proceed, and let them feel Your presence with them every step of the way.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this season to draw them deeper into relationship with You. Let them experience Your comfort, Your joy, and Your peace in a fresh way. May their testimony of Your faithfulness encourage others and bring glory to Your name.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, worshipping Him in the midst of the wait, and trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. Keep us updated on how the Lord moves in your life—we would love to rejoice with you as He brings breakthrough! If there are other areas where you need prayer or counsel, do not hesitate to share. You are not alone in this; the body of Christ stands with you. *"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."* (Romans 15:13).
