Healing prayer from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Prayer request from every ailments and diseases that is causing me to experience pain, discomfort and anxiety in my body from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet internally and externally….. In the name of Jesus…….

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for healing from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet. The Word of God declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician who sees every ache, every pain, and every burden you carry.

Father God, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious one. By the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every disease, and every attack of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We command every cell, organ, muscle, and bone to align with Your perfect design in Jesus’ name. Let Your healing virtue flow like a river from the top of the head to the soles of the feet, restoring strength, peace, and wholeness.

We also lift up the anxiety that accompanies this physical suffering. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Lord, replace fear with faith, and let Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind.

We encourage you to stand firm on God’s Word, speaking healing and life over your body. Proverbs 18:21 says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." Declare with us: "By His wounds, I am healed. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and I walk in divine health." Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

If there are areas in your life where sin or unforgiveness may have opened doors to these attacks, we gently remind you that confession and repentance bring healing. James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." Do not carry the weight of unconfessed sin, bring it to the cross and receive the cleansing blood of Jesus.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and healed. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Father, for Your mercy, Your grace, and Your unfailing love. May this one experience Your healing touch and walk in the fullness of life You have promised. Amen.

We are joining you in prayer right now for the healing you’ve asked for, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. Living with constant pain and the anxiety that comes with it is a heavy load, and we don’t want you to carry it alone. When every part of you seems to ache, inside and out, it’s easy to lose heart, but we are standing with you.

Something we have often seen is that when pain lingers, it can shrink our world and make it hard to notice even small signs of God’s care. We want to gently encourage you to let a doctor walk alongside you as well. God often brings relief through the skill of medical professionals, so we hope you’ll reach out to one who can listen carefully and help you understand what your body is going through. That is not a lack of faith; it is simply using the gifts He has given.

In the middle of all this, even a whispered “Jesus, help me” can anchor your soul when your body is under siege. He is not far off. He knows every ache and every fear you feel, and He is near.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to touch this dear one with Your healing power, from head to foot. Quiet the pain and calm the anxiety that weighs on them. Let Your restoring life flow through every part of their body, inside and out. Give wisdom to any doctors or caregivers who come alongside, and strengthen this person with hope that does not waver. Wrap them in Your peace that passes understanding and keep them safe in Your love. In Your name, Amen.

The pain from crown to sole is no small affliction, and the Lord who made the body knows its every nerve and sinew. Yet, take heed that the greater sickness lies not within the soul. Our blessed Physician delights to heal the whole man, but He begins where the deepest need resides, with the forgiveness of sins. Has He first spoken that word to your heart, “Your sins are forgiven you”? Then be of good cheer; the outward cure, if He wills, shall follow in due season. If He tarries, know that His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness. The indoor work of a calm and trusting spirit is the truest preparation for any deliverance.

I bid you look not so much upon the multitude of your ailments as upon the all-sufficiency of Christ. The Tree of Life stands on either side of the river, and its leaves are for the healing of the nations, for healing at every point. That same power which was present to heal in the days of His flesh remains undiminished. Call upon His name with a whole heart, for it is written, “Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Saved! That grand word encompasses body and spirit, time and eternity. Do not let your heart be troubled by the swarm of fears that attend bodily distress; rather, feed upon Christ as a whole Christ, Prophet, Priest, and King to you. He was given for the entire man, and He is able to restore internal peace even while the outward frame trembles.

Cease from anxiety; be not of a meteoric mind, hovering in doubt. The Lord Jesus is as near as your cry. He received the poor paralytic let down through the roof, and He will receive your prayer, however feebly expressed. Only believe, and all things are possible to him that believes. If He grants you strength to rise and walk, praise Him. If He leaves you yet upon the bed of languishing, trust Him still, for your light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. I will join with you in seeking His healing hand, but I would rather see your soul anchored in peace than your body suddenly made whole. The one is for a few fleeting years; the other is for eternity. So let your prayer ascend without ceasing, and let your heart rest in the sure love of Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your body cries out with every ache from head to toe, and you ask for relief in the name of Jesus. This is not wrong; it is a groan lifted toward heaven. Yet I beg you to consider: when the soul is sick, no bodily cure can bring true peace. We chase after healing for the flesh as though it were everything, while the soul’s ailments we neglect, and so we never escape our distress. The anxiety gnawing at you is a far worse scourge than any physical wound, for it chains you to fear and empty turmoil. God sends us not merely a release from pain, but His own Word, the gift of compunction, to free us from bitter slavery inside. If we will groan and look up to Him, He will deliver us from this unprofitable anxiety that torments without gain.

You say "from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet" but I ask: have you examined the condition of your heart? Bodily health, even if it flourishes for a time, is devoured by age or disease or the very worry you seek to escape. The beauty and soundness that matter can never wrinkle, never wither, and no anxiety can disfigure them. That is the undefiled adornment of a soul at peace with God. Your prayer for healing is natural, but let it be the door, not the house. Too often we fixate on cleansing the streams while ignoring the fountain of our ills. If God grants health, will you not still face the eternal realities that put all present suffering in shadow? The very thought of judgment makes me shudder, for I am not among the crowned; yet the fear the Ninevites felt for a city's overthrow is nothing compared to what is at stake for the soul.

Do not add to your pain the superfluous penalty of anxious care. God provides whether you take thought or not, and more when you cast your care upon Him. You stand before a fountain more copious than any banquet; do not live as a beggar. I know afflictions can make hearing dull, but even dull ears can be restored by a single word from God when the heart is finally pierced. Perhaps you have heard many times and felt insensible; yet that is no reason to cease crying out. The tree falls at last, not by one blow but by every stroke that came before. Let your prayer be this: that He send not merely bodily ease, but compunction, true sorrow for sin, and a love that drives out fear. Then, whether in sickness or in health, you will possess the healing that reaches beyond the soles of your feet to the depths of your soul.

Your request for prayer from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet reaches into the very heart of what it means to bring our whole suffering before the Lord. That kind of total cry, inside and out, is no stranger to the pages of Scripture. When Matthew recorded the healing ministry of Jesus, he deliberately tied it to Isaiah’s prophecy: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” That wasn’t a narrow promise only for the soul; it embraces the body as well. So there is every reason to come boldly, in the name of Jesus, laying every ache and anxious thought at His feet.

At the same time, we must be careful not to presume we always know the exact form God’s answer will take. Even the apostle Paul pleaded three times for a thorn in the flesh to be removed, and the Lord’s reply was not the removal he asked for but the assurance, “My grace is sufficient for you.” That is not a denial of God’s power to heal; it shows that His purposes can be deeper than immediate relief, and His strength is perfected in our weakness. We do not demand healing as though we could obligate God by our prayers or by any work of our own. He is the initiator; we are responders. Our part is to come honestly, confess any known sin that blocks fellowship, receive the cleansing He promises the penitent, and then rest in whatever He chooses to do, whether an instant touch, a gradual process, or sustaining grace in the midst of ongoing trial.

Jesus often varied His methods. Sometimes a word, sometimes a touch, sometimes a command to go and wash. No pattern contained Him. And to the paralyzed man lowered through the roof, His first words were not “Be healed” but “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven.” That may have disappointed the crowd, and maybe even the man, but it addressed the root of all disorder. The same Lord who cleansed lepers and restored them to community knows exactly what you need for body and for conscience. Trust Him enough to yield the outcome entirely to His wisdom. He did not spare His own Son; how will He not also freely give us all things that are truly good for us?

Continue to pray, not to twist His arm, but to show your dependence, and let your every breath be a response to the grace He has already poured out. He hears. He cares. And whether the relief comes swiftly or slowly, or only in the age to come when these mortal bodies will be swallowed up by life, He remains your faithful High Priest who sympathizes with your weaknesses. Rest there.
