We hear your cry for healing and lift your back pain before the Lord with earnest hearts. The Word of God assures us that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise as we intercede for you. Jesus walked this earth healing the sick, the lame, and the broken, and He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We believe in His power to restore and renew your body according to His perfect will.
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our brother/sister who is suffering with back pain. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask that You touch their body with Your healing hand. Strengthen their muscles, mend their bones, and relieve every ache and discomfort. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they trust in You (Philippians 4:7). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 53:17). May they feel Your presence close, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel, for the Lord often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom He has given them. Do not grow weary in prayer, for the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Rest in the knowledge that God is working all things together for your good, even in this trial (Romans 8:28).
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in your life that may be hindering your healing, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16). The Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let go of any bitterness, anger, or resentment, for these can grieve the Holy Spirit and hinder your prayers (Ephesians 4:30-31).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and find healing (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare your healing complete in Jesus’ name, and we thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. Amen.
