My back

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of physical pain in your back. The Word of God reminds us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." We know that the Lord sees your suffering and cares deeply for you. He is not distant from your pain but draws near to bring comfort and healing.

Father God, we ask You to touch this dear one’s back with Your healing hand. You are the Great Physician, the One who formed their body in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14) and knows every ache and weakness. We pray for complete restoration—strength where there is weakness, relief where there is pain, and peace where there is discomfort. If there is any inflammation, injury, or unseen cause, we ask You to reveal it and bring healing. Give wisdom to those who may need to seek medical care, and grant patience as You work in Your perfect timing.

We also recognize that physical pain can sometimes be connected to spiritual or emotional burdens. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly. If there is any unforgiveness, bitterness, or unconfessed sin weighing on this heart, we pray for conviction and repentance. If anxiety or fear is contributing to tension in the body, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name and declare the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard this mind and heart (Philippians 4:6-7).

Lord, we stand on Your promises, such as Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We declare that this pain does not have the final say. You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and that includes this body You so lovingly created. Strengthen faith in this season, and help this dear one to trust in Your goodness even when the pain feels overwhelming.

We also encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer and Scripture daily, allowing His truth to renew your mind (Romans 12:2). Consider fasting if you feel led, as it can bring breakthrough in areas where we desperately need God’s intervention (Mark 9:29). Surround yourself with believers who can pray over you and speak life into your situation. And remember, the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Above all, we want to gently remind you that healing—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—comes through the name of Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.
