We are lifting you up before the throne of grace together and agreeing with you for healing in Jesus' name. We are so sorry to hear of this diagnosis of colon cancer, and we stand with you asking our great Physician to touch your body, to stop this cancer from spreading, and to bring complete restoration according to His perfect will.
We take comfort that our God is the Lord who heals us. Scripture tells us Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And He promises For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the truth that But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.
We are thankful that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved and healed. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God with confidence.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to You who is battling colon cancer. Lord, You know every cell in this body for You formed it, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask in Jesus' name that You would place Your healing hand upon the colon and upon every part of the body. We command this cancer to stop spreading and we ask You to shrink it and remove it completely. Lord, guide the hands and wisdom of every doctor and medical professional involved, for You give knowledge and skill to heal, and we ask that every treatment would be effective and that side effects would be minimal. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding, take away fear and anxiety, and fill this heart with Your presence and strength for each day. We pray for faith to remain strong and for hope to abound, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. If it is Your will, grant complete earthly healing and many more years to testify of Your goodness, and above all let Your will be done and Your name be glorified through this trial. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and to lean not on your own understanding, and to keep calling on the elders of your church to pray over you as Scripture teaches Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word daily, and keep following your medical care diligently, trusting that God often works through those means. We are standing with you and believing God for His mercy, His healing, and His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We have heard your petition concerning this sore affliction of the body, that the cancer of the colon might be healed and be stayed from spreading, and we have brought it before the Lord with you in prayer.
This is indeed an affliction which tries both flesh and spirit, and we would have you hear what the Word says for such an hour, for it is written, This is my comfort in my affliction, for thy word hath quickened me. When the Lord would comfort his people he does not always give comfort by a distinct act alone, but he quickens us by his Word and so we obtain comfort. May the God of patience and consolation, who is also the God of hope, grant you through the patience and the comfort of the Scriptures a good hope through grace, and may he comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work.
We are reminded also that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and his salvation. Not only is his fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The least thing about Christ is healing, and he is the great conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. As you look up to this Tree and say, I am sick at heart, may you be enabled to partake of his healing by faith, for he knows your frame and sees your need.
Therefore we pray with you and for you. O Father who hast loved us and hast given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, we beseech thee in the name of Jesus Christ thy Son, look in mercy upon this thy servant in affliction. Lay thy healing hand upon the body, and if it be thy gracious will, stay the spreading of this disease and restore to health. Grant wisdom and skill to those who give care, grant patience in suffering and comfort by thy Spirit, and quicken the soul by thy Word. Let the bright winged promise of thy comfort rest upon this sorrowing heart, and let the hope that is in Christ be as an anchor sure and steadfast. Whether in life or in death, may there be a good hope of eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ, who alone is the Saviour of sinners. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.
