Father God, I ask for healing over my body and deliverance from anxiety in Jesus name Amen

We hear your cry for healing and deliverance from anxiety, and we join with you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and the power to overcome every affliction, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

First, we want to affirm that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is God’s will for you to walk in health and wholeness. The scriptures declare, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness that may be attacking your body, for Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). We stand on the promise that "by His stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that healing is yours in Jesus' name.

Anxiety is not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and worry that seeks to steal your peace. Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We encourage you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Replace every anxious thought with the truth of God’s Word, meditating on scriptures that remind you of His faithfulness, such as Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace. We ask for Your healing touch to come upon [this individual], restoring every part of their body to full health. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name.

Father, we also ask for Your peace to flood their heart and mind. Deliver them from anxiety, fear, and worry, and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remind them daily that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith as they meditate on Your Word and stand on Your promises.

Lord, we ask that You draw [this individual] closer to You during this time. May they seek Your face and find comfort in Your presence. Surround them with Your love and the support of fellow believers who can encourage them in their walk with You. We pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate this season, and we ask that You guide their steps according to Your will.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. We declare that [this individual] is healed, whole, and free from anxiety, for You are the God who heals and delivers. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm on God’s promises and continue to seek Him through prayer, worship, and the reading of His Word. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and encourage you in your faith. Remember, "faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone, and God is with you every step of the way.

Thank you for sharing this, we’re sitting with you as you ask God for healing and relief from anxiety. We know how heavy it can feel to carry a body that seems to sound an alarm even when there’s no clear danger, and we’re grateful you’re bringing it to the Lord with such honesty.

Sometimes anxiety is not only a spiritual battle but also a nervous system that’s become stuck in high alert. So while we pray boldly, we also gently encourage you to be patient with your body, no need to fight it, just let yourself slow down in small, ordinary moments. If the physical signs keep intensifying, seeing a doctor can be a wise way to care for the body God gave you; there’s no shame in that.

In the moments when fear rises, try something simple: pause and whisper to Jesus exactly what you feel, even if it’s a raw “I’m scared and I don’t know why.” He can handle it. And if you have a trusted friend, pastor, or small group, consider letting them pray with you, sometimes just knowing someone stands with you before God helps the weight feel more bearable.

We lift you up now, Lord Jesus. You know every racing heartbeat and every worried thought. Quiet them with Your deep, steady peace. Bring healing to this body in the way You know is best, and give Your child the settled assurance that You are present in the middle of the storm. Help them take one gentle step at a time, leaning on You. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing; from the least things that proceed out of Christ there flows abundant virtue to cure every malady of body and soul. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He visits the heart, pardon and healing are discovered to be one. Pain of body is a sharp tutor, yet it conceals mercy; it drives us to that great Physician in whose wounds our healing is found, and in whose death our life. Look to Jesus upon the Cross, and find there a ransom discovered by Divine Love, a way of deliverance that no human mind could have invented, a gift of Free Grace, for the Lord says, “I have found a ransom.”

That anxiety which now casts its shadow upon your spirit arises often because you are in a difficulty, but have you not found that the very anxiety unfits you to meet that difficulty? The feeding of the physical frame engrosses much care, but O Man, you yourself are better than your body! Cast this burden upon your heavenly Father, for deliverance from the power of darkness and from every inward fear is as much His work as deliverance from the guilt of sin. He who wrote your name in wounds upon His hand, has He forgotten? What! Jesus your own brother, your husband, your head, your all, shall He forget to bring you forth with a high hand and an outstretched arm? The clock of mercy will strike the hour of your deliverance, for the eternal purpose of Jehovah has decreed it.

Wait upon Him who sometimes whispers sweet assurances to His children in trial that they shall not be crushed. There is an abundance of healing power in Christ Jesus; not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves, the least things about Him, are full of healing virtue. He makes deliverance effectual, and when He does so, you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Then shall your song be more jubilant, for He who has chastened you sorely will yet bring you across the brook to meet reconciled Esau, and you will know that every arrow shot by the enemy has been turned aside. Your own weakness fits you to take no atom of the honor, but to say, “HE brought me forth.”

You cry out for healing of body and deliverance from anxiety, and this is a groan that rises up to God. Consider how anxiety itself is a scourge, a bitter slavery. We are scourged every day, full of fear, in anxiety, in trembling. It is a mire we stir up, fixed to the clay, toiling for the devil with stripes far more grievous than any bodily lash. Yet if we will groan, if we will look up to God, He sends His own Word and compunction. When that Word comes and takes hold of the soul, He frees us from the bitter slavery, from unprofitable and vain zeal.

Do not think the body’s sickness is unconnected to the soul’s condition. A fearful thing is sin, and its mischief through excess often overflows and attacks the body. Since when the soul is diseased we feel no pain, God often punishes the body for the transgressions of the soul, so that by the scourging of the inferior part, the better part may receive some healing. When Christ healed the paralytic, He said, “Behold, thou art made whole; sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.” He restored the flesh to apply healing to the soul. So also with you: seek the healing of the hidden man, and do not limit your cry to the body alone. For when He touched Peter’s wife’s mother, He not only quenched the fever but gave her back perfect health at once, a thing no physician’s art could achieve. His power is instant and complete.

But do not despair if your prayer seems unanswered in the moment. As a tree may receive ten strokes and not fall, then afterward be brought down all at once by a single blow, so it is with the soul that hears the word and seems insensible. That single blow is not alone; the ten before made it successful. Many have heard ten times and remained unchanged, yet at one hearing were converted, or rather, after the many, brought forth abundant fruit. Persist in your cry. Keep asking, keep listening to the word, even if you see no fruit yet. We are fully persuaded that such eager desire, such a love of hearing, shall not fail of its effect.

Remember, you are a member of the body of Christ, and the gifts of healing are distributed as He wills. Not all have all gifts, but the body is not one member. If all were one member, where were the body? Your part is to groan, to cling to the Word, to seek deliverance from all worldly anxieties. For it is not enough to be free from one passion; we must cultivate every part of virtue. There is required careful hearing, continual recollection, fortitude, contempt of riches, and deliverance from all earthly things. No one part alone suffices for our salvation.

Let your anxiety drive you not to despair but to compunction. Groan to God, and He will send His Word, sharper than any two-edged sword, to cut away your bonds. Lay hold of the promise of eternal life, and the healing of both soul and body will follow, at the time and in the manner He knows best.

Your prayer for healing and deliverance from anxiety touches on realities that every believer wrestles with while living in these mortal bodies. There is a groaning that comes from being housed in a frame that is still subject to corruption, still caught in what the Scriptures call the bondage of decay. The human makeup is body, mind, and spirit, and when the body cries out with pain or distress, the mind naturally becomes absorbed with those signals. Anxiety often follows when the mind is fixed entirely on the physical condition, its symptoms, and its uncertainties. That absorption is what the Bible describes as the mind of the flesh, a mind preoccupied with the needs and fears of the body.

But you belong to Jesus Christ, and through His death and resurrection you have been brought into a different kind of life. The Spirit of God now dwells in you, and where the Spirit rules, He produces life and peace. This peace is not the absence of physical trouble but the deep, settled confidence that you are held by God no matter what the body endures. When your mind is stayed on Him, when you turn your thoughts away from the chaos of symptoms and anchor them in His faithfulness, the peace of Christ begins to fill your heart in ways that surpass human understanding.

There is a war inside every believer between the pull of the flesh and the leading of the Spirit. The body clamors for attention, and anxiety rises when it seems to have the upper hand. But you are not doomed to be governed by those fears. By the Spirit you can put to death the controlling power of the flesh. Yield the members of your body, and the thoughts of your mind, to God as one who has been made alive from the dead. Fill your mind deliberately with what is true about Him, with worship, with Scripture, with thanksgiving. As you do, the mind of the Spirit gains ground, and that is where life and peace reside.

Physical healing remains something we ask for and trust God for, yet we also hold onto the greater hope set before us. One day you will be delivered from this body of corruption entirely and clothed with a dwelling from heaven, a body no longer troubled by disease or distorted desires. Until that day, you will never be separated from the love of God in Christ. Not for one moment. Real death, the separation of your consciousness from God, has already been defeated for you through the cross. The anxiety you feel now cannot sever that union. May you know that perfect peace as your mind rests steadily on Him.
