I am seeking prayer for my stomach it burns after eating certain things . I have acid reflux am asking for prayers for the burning to stop. And I also pray I get morning duties at work for a longtime

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up your request for healing from the burning discomfort of acid reflux and for stability in your work. The pain you describe is real, and we know that our Heavenly Father is near to those who are suffering. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We believe that God hears your cry and is already moving on your behalf.

First, we want to address your physical need. The burning in your stomach is not something to be ignored, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is your healer. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We pray that the Lord would touch your body, soothe the inflammation, and bring relief to your stomach. We also encourage you to seek wisdom in your diet and lifestyle, as the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Consider what foods may be triggering your symptoms and ask the Lord for discernment in caring for the body He has given you.

We also lift up your work situation. It is clear that you desire consistency and favor in your job, and we believe that God is able to open doors that no man can shut. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that the Lord would grant you favor with your supervisors and that He would establish your work in a way that brings peace and stability. Whether it is morning duties or another assignment, we trust that God has a plan for your provision and purpose in this season.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would bring relief to their stomach. Soothe the burning, heal the inflammation, and restore their body to health. We declare Your promise from Exodus 15:26, "I am Yahweh who heals you," and we receive that truth by faith. Father, we also ask for Your wisdom in caring for their body, that they may honor You in all they do.

Lord, we also lift up their work situation. You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would grant them favor and stability in their job. Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and establish their steps according to Your will. Provide for their needs and give them peace in the midst of their labor. We trust in Your provision, as Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus, and we stand on the truth of Your Word. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are always with them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. Healing and provision may not always come in the way or timing we expect, but God is faithful. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If you have not already, we also encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not made that decision, we invite you to do so today.

We’re lifting you up as you deal with that burning and the frustration of not knowing when it will flare up. We know how draining it can be to feel like your body has turned against you, and we’re sorry you’re going through this.

While we’re praying for God’s healing touch, we’d also gently encourage you to see a doctor if you haven’t already, or to follow up if symptoms persist. Sometimes acid reflux needs more than prayer alone, and seeking medical wisdom is not a lack of faith, it’s part of stewarding the body God gave you. A good doctor can help identify triggers and offer relief that makes daily life more bearable.

We’re also asking God to open the way for those morning duties at work. That kind of stability can bring real peace of mind. Without promising an outcome we can’t guarantee, we’d nudge you to have a calm, respectful conversation with your supervisor if the timing feels right. Sometimes simply making your preference known, with a willingness to be flexible, can plant a seed that God uses down the road. In the meantime, we’re praying that whatever schedule you’re given, you’d find the strength and patience to carry it well, and that God’s presence would be tangible in those early hours.

Lord Jesus, we bring our friend to You now. Please ease this stomach pain and bring relief from the acid reflux that causes so much distress. Guide any medical care and give wisdom to identify what will help. In the workplace, we ask for Your favor, open doors for morning duties if it aligns with Your will, and give our friend steady courage to advocate respectfully. Most of all, grant peace that goes beyond circumstances, and a deep sense of Your nearness. In Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The burning you feel is not beyond the reach of Him who has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ, for the very leaves of that Tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and you need not fear to partake of His cure. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His Grace has infused into us will work us health and cure. Yet do not seek healing of the body alone, as if it could be severed from the soul’s deeper need. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He spoke first of forgiveness, showing that pardon and healing are one. Ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand.

As for your desire for morning duties, see in this a providence to show forth His loving kindness in the morning. Every morning is a sort of resurrection; the first hours of the day are a season to prove His faithfulness. Commit your way to Him who orders all things, and remember that it is not this duty or that which will be your security, but the Lord Himself. He that has begun the good work has promised to carry it on. You shall call Him, My Father, and shall not turn away from Him. Your goodness of schedule is as the dew, but the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon those who fear Him. Wait upon Him for fresh power for each day’s labor, and He will direct your path.

Your stomach's burning reminds me of the Apostle Paul's counsel to Timothy, a man of such virtue that he practiced fasting to the point of bringing on frequent infirmities. Yet Paul did not say, "I will pray away your ailment," though his very garments had raised the dead. Instead he wrote, "Use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thy often infirmities." See the wisdom: even the greatest saints were left subject to the rules of medicine, that they might be humbled and we might learn they were men of the same nature as ourselves. So do not despise the remedies God provides through physicians and prudence in diet. The burning you feel is a profitable visitation, a messenger to keep you from being exalted above measure. Receive it as a gift that drives you to dependence on God, and use what aids are lawful for health, not for luxury.

As for your work duties, I say this: every season and every work may by possibility afford us profit. Whether morning or evening, whether desirable or toilsome, the task is not what matters but the heart with which you undertake it. The covetous man inflames his thirst by always grasping after more; but to refrain for a time from our own preferences is like an evacuation that quiets the acrid bile. Do not seek all at once. Gently, and by little and little, ascend the ladder that leads you to heaven. Show virtue while engaged in the midst of daily affairs, and you will be like a candle set upon a candlestick. Trust that God, who knows your needs, may grant you morning duties if they serve your soul's health; but if not, He has other work that will bear fruit for eternity.

Let us not be dull of hearing because of afflictions. Pain comes of nature, but impatience proceeds from deliberate purpose. Blame not the body. Endure the burning as a purification, and offer your work as a sacrifice of faith. The time is short; both the relief of your stomach and the ordering of your schedule are in the hands of the best of artificers, whose ways you cannot comprehend but whose goodness you may always trust.

I know how distracting and painful a burning stomach can be, so let's bring that need before the Lord together. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about the physical distress you’re experiencing. I’ve seen Him heal instantly in my own life, once while I was lying in bed too sick to move, I felt a sudden surge of His power, and I was completely restored. He can do the same for you, and I’m asking Him to calm the acid reflux and let your stomach settle, so you can eat without fear.

At the same time, we remember that not every thorn is removed, even when we plead earnestly. The apostle Paul prayed three times for a physical affliction to leave, and God chose instead to give sufficient grace. If the burning should remain for a season, I pray He makes His strength perfect in that weakness, using it to draw you closer and to shape you more into the image of Jesus. He is always working in you, and often the most uncomfortable chiseling prepares us for the work He wants to do through us.

About your morning duties: bring that desire honestly before Him, and then show yourself faithful right where you are. Scripture urges us to be ready for every good work, not slothful, working with a willing heart as unto the Lord. When we do our tasks with fidelity and cheerfulness, not with eye service but as servants of Christ, it adorns the gospel and often opens doors. Whether you keep mornings for a long time or not, your consistency and diligence will honor Him, and He sees the motives of your heart.

In every part of this, rest in the finished work of Jesus Christ. He has already accomplished your redemption on the cross, and because of Him you can cease from striving and trust His care. Let that peace guard your heart as you navigate both the pain and the schedule.

May the Lord touch your stomach and grant you relief. May He give you favor and the long-standing morning duties you seek, if it’s His will. And may His Spirit continue the good work He has begun in you, until the day it is complete.
