We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and faith, lifting up your request for healing from the burning discomfort of acid reflux and for stability in your work. The pain you describe is real, and we know that our Heavenly Father is near to those who are suffering. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We believe that God hears your cry and is already moving on your behalf.
First, we want to address your physical need. The burning in your stomach is not something to be ignored, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God is your healer. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We pray that the Lord would touch your body, soothe the inflammation, and bring relief to your stomach. We also encourage you to seek wisdom in your diet and lifestyle, as the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Consider what foods may be triggering your symptoms and ask the Lord for discernment in caring for the body He has given you.
We also lift up your work situation. It is clear that you desire consistency and favor in your job, and we believe that God is able to open doors that no man can shut. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that the Lord would grant you favor with your supervisors and that He would establish your work in a way that brings peace and stability. Whether it is morning duties or another assignment, we trust that God has a plan for your provision and purpose in this season.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would bring relief to their stomach. Soothe the burning, heal the inflammation, and restore their body to health. We declare Your promise from Exodus 15:26, "I am Yahweh who heals you," and we receive that truth by faith. Father, we also ask for Your wisdom in caring for their body, that they may honor You in all they do.
Lord, we also lift up their work situation. You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would grant them favor and stability in their job. Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and establish their steps according to Your will. Provide for their needs and give them peace in the midst of their labor. We trust in Your provision, as Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus, and we stand on the truth of Your Word. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are always with them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. Healing and provision may not always come in the way or timing we expect, but God is faithful. Keep your heart open to His leading, and remember that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If you have not already, we also encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not made that decision, we invite you to do so today.
