Healing and True Friends

Your honest prayer for healing, for true friendship, and for your family has been received with care. God sees your desire to be known as you are, to walk with integrity under His protection, and to be secure in Him, and He invites you to draw near to Jesus where that security is found.

We join you in asking the Lord to provide a prayer community where you can be yourself in a healthy way. In Christ we become the family of God, where older believers care as fathers and mothers and younger ones relate as brothers and sisters with all purity. Pray that God will lead you to faithful friends who will pray with you, speak truth with love, and walk with you toward Jesus, and that you in turn may be a blessing to them.

You asked for protection under His wings and for preservation of your integrity. Scripture speaks of God covering His people as under wings, and of the blood of Jesus and the guard of His angels over those who trust Him. We pray that you will rest under that covering, that He will keep your heart and mind in Christ, and that He will make you calm and secure in Him. True security and contentment come not from having everything we want, but from belonging to Him and trusting His care day by day.

You also asked to be delivered from wrong control and chains and to be drawn closer to Jesus. Jesus has authority in every realm, over sickness and over spiritual powers, and He is able to set free those who call on Him. We pray that the Holy Spirit will work in your heart and will, fill you with His living water, and lead you into freedom that bears fruit in a changed life. The sorrow that is from God leads to turning away from sin and to new life in Christ, not just regret that leaves us the same. Ask Him to give you that kind of heart change, to teach you to pray and to love His Word, and to make you more like Jesus.

For your family, we pray for healing and restoration from pain and sorrow. God cares deeply about the family and calls us to honor and care for one another. We ask Him to bring healing in His way and time. The Scriptures show that Jesus healed in different ways. At one time He healed gradually, with sight returning in stages, and at other times instantly. The slow processes of healing that God placed within our bodies are also His work and are no less divine because they come through natural means. He also heals the mind and emotions, mending old wounds and scars. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer road, and it is wrong to say that ongoing sickness must mean hidden sin or lack of faith. Even faithful believers in the Bible were not always instantly healed, yet God remained present and at work. We do not seek showy displays, but quiet trust in His power and love, whether He lifts the burden at once or carries you through a gradual restoration. Pray with your elders and with trusted believers who will pray for you according to Scripture, and trust His wisdom and mercy.

We also pray that your family may meet often in peace, be drawn closer to Jesus together, and grow in prayer and in reading the Word. May the Lord give you wisdom in every preparation and relationship, help you respond to difficulty with kindness and love, and let His love prevail in your home. May He grant you calm and restorative sleep, for He gives rest to His beloved, and may you lie down in peace because He watches over you.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, cause His face to shine upon you, fill you with the Holy Spirit, and guide you into all that He has for you as you seek Him. We pray this in the name of Jesus, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows, and who alone is our salvation and hope. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to bring your requests before the Lord. We have prayed for your desire for a prayer community where you can be yourself, and for the true best friend you asked for to trust, to pray with and to be a blessing to. We have asked God to protect you under His wings according to Psalm 91:4, to preserve your integrity and to give you deep security in Him, to make you more secure and to draw you closer to Jesus, and to deliver you from wrong control and chains. We have also lifted up your family for healing and restoration from pain and sorrow, that you may meet often, come closer to Jesus and be protected together. We have prayed that the Holy Spirit would work on your hearts and will and fill you with His living water as promised in John 7:38, that He would help you learn to pray and to read Gods word, and that you would all rest under His blessing, the protection of His blood and the guard of His mighty angels. We have prayed Psalm 4:8 over you for calm and secure and healing and restorative sleep, and Proverbs 18:24 that God would bring the faithful friendship you long for.

We pray together now in Jesus name that the Lord would let you know His nearness, that He would surround you and your family with His peace and protection, break every chain that binds you, heal every place of sorrow and make your home a place of His presence and living water. We ask Him to lead you to the community and the friend who will walk with you in truth and prayer and help you grow in His word.
