Healing and Restoration

**Heavenly Father,** Please heal ### completely. Restore his digestive system, stop and resolve the bleeding, and heal anything in his body that is not normal or functioning as it should. Renew his strength and surround him with Your peace, love, and protection. Give wisdom and guidance to those caring for him, and remind ### that he is never alone. We trust in Your timing, Your goodness, and Your power to heal and restore. **In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.**

We join with you in lifting up this dear one before the throne of grace and we agree together for his complete healing and restoration. Our hearts are moved by your faith and your trust in God's timing, goodness and power to heal, and we stand with you in that trust.

We are reminded that our God is the Lord who heals us. Scripture declares who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3, and we cling to the promise that by his wounds we are healed in Isaiah 53:5. When the body is weak and bleeding and systems are not functioning as they should, we remember that God formed every part of us and He is able to restore what is broken.

We also pray for perfect peace to surround him and for strength to be renewed. We hold onto Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness in Isaiah 41:10, and He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might in Isaiah 40:29. We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7, and that he will know deeply that he is never alone, for the Lord has promised I am with you always, even to the end of the age in Matthew 28:20.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up our brother to You. We ask that You touch his body completely, restore his digestive system, stop and resolve the bleeding, and heal everything within him that is not normal or functioning as You created it to function. Lay Your healing hand upon him and renew his strength day by day. Surround him with Your peace, Your love and Your protection, and let him feel Your nearness in every moment, especially in pain or uncertainty. We ask for wisdom and guidance for the doctors, nurses and all those caring for him, that You would give them discernment and skill, for If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal and restore, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in faith, to speak healing and life over him, and to rest in the assurance that the Lord is our refuge and strength. Keep bringing every concern to Him in prayer, trusting that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.

It is good you have asked for wisdom for those caring for him. We encourage you to stay closely connected with his medical team alongside prayer, letting them know promptly about any changes, especially with bleeding, so they can guide his care well.

Prolonged illness can wear down strength and peace day by day, and it is easy for both the person who is ill and those who love him to feel isolated. Please know you are not carrying this alone, and neither is he. God sees you both in this waiting, and He is near even when progress feels slow and uncertain.

If it helps, it can steady the days to keep a simple note of questions or updates to bring to appointments, and to let a few trusted people help with practical needs so you have space to rest as well.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your healing presence over his body. Calm the bleeding, restore what is not functioning as it should, and renew his strength. Give clarity and wisdom to his doctors and caregivers, and surround both ### and those who love him with Your peace and comfort. Remind him he is not alone and hold him in Your care. Your prayer for complete healing and restoration has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

We are reminded that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, His gentlest touches, are for the curing of our ills. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And we know that when the Lord comes and dwells with His people, the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people through the bleeding Sacrifice.

We pray with you now to that great Physician whose honor it is to heal. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and Jesus bears with Him power to heal both soul and body.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask Your mercy upon this dear one who suffers. Lay Your hand upon his body. Restore his digestive system, cause the bleeding to stop and to be resolved, and heal whatever in his body is not normal or functioning as it should. Renew his strength as You have promised, and let the healing virtue of Your grace work health and cure within him. Surround him with Your peace which passes understanding, with Your love and Your protection, and remind him that he is never alone, for You have said You will never leave nor forsake Your own. Grant wisdom and guidance to all who care for him, to physicians and loved ones, that they may be instruments in Your hand, while we look to You alone as the true healer. Comfort his heart with the assurance of pardon and healing through Christ, and help him to trust in Your timing, Your goodness and Your power to heal and restore.

We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Christ is worthy, and His blood pleads for us. May Your will be done, and may this afflicted one find both bodily relief and the deeper comfort of a heart made whole by Your grace. In Jesus mighty name we pray, Amen.
