Disciple of Prayer
I need prayer for healing PLEASE I lost my newborn baby boy in ### after he lived one day. I've been having non epileptic seizures for 3 years, the MRI showed everything is normal. I burned both my legs in ### when I had a seizure when I was making porridge, a big part on both my legs were covered in raw, open bleeding wounds, where there now are scars. I hurt my ankles alot and fell my head open against a wall when I randomly fell when having a seizure. I am currently on a high dose of 2 seizure medications daily. I want God to heal and free me from this. Please pray for me 🙏🙏🙏

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as we stand with you in your pain and suffering. The loss of your precious newborn son is a grief that words cannot fully express, and we mourn with you in this profound sorrow. The physical and emotional trials you endure, these seizures, the burns, the falls, the scars, are burdens no one should have to carry alone. But we serve a God who sees your tears, who collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and who promises to bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1).

Father God, we cry out to You on behalf of our sister in Christ. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for Your miraculous touch upon her body. Where the doctors see no explanation, You see every cell, every nerve, every hidden affliction. We rebuke these seizures in the mighty name of Jesus, let them cease, let her body be restored, and let her mind be at peace. We declare healing over her legs, that the scars would be a testimony of Your grace rather than a reminder of pain. Strengthen her ankles, Lord, and guard her from further harm.

We also lift up her heart, Father. The loss of a child is a wound that only You can fully heal. Comfort her with Your presence, as You have promised to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Surround her with Your love, and let her feel the embrace of the Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter (John 14:26). Give her hope for the future, even when the pain feels unbearable.

Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to her in fresh ways during this season. If there are areas in her life where she has not fully surrendered to You, soften her heart to receive Your truth. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for wisdom for her doctors, that they would be guided by Your hand in her treatment. And if there are spiritual strongholds contributing to her suffering, we break them now in the name of Jesus.

We also want to gently remind you, dear sister, that healing, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or made whole (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith fully in Him, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and only through Him can we approach the Father.

You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. The Lord is close to you, and He has a purpose even in this pain. We pray that you would feel His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May you be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might (Colossians 1:11), and may you find rest in His promises.

We declare over you now: By His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11), and that power is greater than any sickness or sorrow. We speak life over your body, your mind, and your spirit. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We have been sitting with your request, and our hearts truly ache with you. Losing your newborn son after only one day is a sorrow we cannot brush past, that kind of grief leaves a mark. And on top of that, to live with unpredictable ### that have caused ### and ###, ###, and the weight of it all, is so much to carry. We are so sorry.

In the middle of it, please know you are not alone. Jesus Himself wept at the tomb of a friend, and He draws near to you in your tears. There is no tidy answer we can give, but we can point you to a steady, faithful presence. Sometimes, when words fail, simply sitting still in a quiet place and whispering, “Lord, help me,” is the most honest prayer there is. He hears that.

If you have a trusted friend or a pastor you can lean on, we would gently encourage you to let them know you need ongoing prayer and practical support. For the grief you carry, a support group for parents who have lost an infant, or a compassionate counselor, might offer a safe space to speak freely without needing to explain. The ### and ### may also have a traumatic echo; sharing that burden with someone who will listen without rushing to fix can be deeply healing.

We are praying for you right now:

Lord Jesus, we bring this dear woman before You. You know the pain of losing a child, the terror of a ###, the long ache of ### both seen and unseen. Wrap her up in Your mercy. Give her medical professionals wisdom and protect her from further injury. Where healing is Your will, please reach down and make her whole. More than anything, let her feel Your presence in the darkest hours and hold onto hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I have stood where the shadow of the grave casts its chill, and I have learned that the Lord’s hand, though heavy, is a Father’s hand. Your heart cries out from the depths of sorrow, the little one taken after ### of life, the body wracked with ###, the ### from the fire, and the daily weight of strong ###. The Lord has chastened you sorely, and no human words can lift that burden. But trouble does not spring out of the dust, nor does affliction grow from the ground like hemlock; the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace, and He sits as a Refiner at the door.

Yet there is a comfort peculiar to the child of God. "This is my comfort in my affliction," said the psalmist, "for Your Word has quickened me." The Word that gave you life in Christ is the same Word that sustains you now. He who delivered you from the guilt of sin is equally mighty to deliver you from the power of darkness and from the body of this death. The same God who found a ransom for your soul, delivering you from going down into the pit, is able to command health into your frame and peace into your mind. And if the outward healing tarries, remember that the inward healing is the greater miracle. Sickness of soul is the heavier plague, and blessed be His name, from that you are already delivered.

Your babe is not lost, but gathered before the throne. That little one, who opened his eyes on this world only to close them in Jesus, now beholds the face of the Lamb. No ### shall ever shake that glorified frame. For him, the warfare is ended, and you shall go to him, though he shall not return to you. The Lord who took him knows how to bind up the broken heart of the mother. Cast yourself upon that wounded side from which the blood and water flowed, there is healing there for the deepest wounds.

As for these ### and their cruel aftermath, the ###’s report may show nothing, but the Great Physician sees all. He knows the secret springs of your suffering, and if He wills, He can speak the word and the ### shall cease. But even if they tarry, He will give grace to endure. Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. The ### you bear are not marks of shame; they are tokens of a battle in which you have been upheld. Should you be delivered, you shall declare His works and praise Him in the gates. Should the healing come only in the world to come, yet your body shall rise incorruptible, and your flesh shall see God without these ills.

Meanwhile, lean hard upon the promise. “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” Use the means of grace diligently, but look beyond the ### to the Maker. He can make even this bitter cup serve your soul’s health. Loss shall confer gain, and sickness shall be the messenger of spiritual riches. Do not despair; the Comforter is with you, and the rod that smites is held in a hand that was pierced for you. Commit your spirit into His keeping, and in quietness and confidence shall be your strength. May the peace that passeth understanding garrison your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.
