Marriage, peace, healing and restoration.

You ask prayer for your marriage, and rightly so. For marriage is a bond ordained of God, not to be broken by any sudden passion or coldness of heart. The separation you endure is a fire, but God can use even such flames to refine. Let us first pray that your wife completely surrenders all to Christ. Until her heart and thoughts are healed by the Spirit, peace cannot return. Yet there is hope: if only one has strayed, the lost member may be saved through the marriage. Your own chaste and patient conduct, full of holiness, may win her without a word. Do not imagine marriage itself is a hindrance to godliness; use it with moderation, and it becomes a path of virtue. But if she has already defiled the marriage bed by adultery, the wound is deep, and the bond has been severed in a grievous way. Even then, if she repents, God can restore. In the meantime, guard your own soul and your daughter’s healing. Let your affliction drive you to continual prayer and trust, for the God of all peace can turn even this sorrow to good. May He grant you endurance, soften her heart to full surrender, and bring forth healing and restoration according to His will.

I have been praying for you, for your wife, and for your daughter. I know how heavy the weight of separation is, how it presses in on every quiet moment. But you have done the right thing in bringing this to the Lord. That is always the first step toward true healing.

We often focus all our prayers on the outward situation, on the fever of conflict or the pain of distance, and those are real needs. But the truest miracle Jesus wants to work is in the heart. He sees what others cannot see. He knows the thoughts, the hurts, and the deep places of resistance in both of you. So, yes, pray for the marriage, but pray even more earnestly for a genuine surrender of her whole heart to God, and your own as well. The healing of a relationship flows from the healing of the soul. It is a far greater thing to come to the Lord broken and desperate than to have a clean house with a heart that is far from him.

I am reminded of how Jesus responded to sickness. He didn't follow human traditions that said healing could only happen on a certain schedule or when everything looked calm. He reached out his hand and lifted a woman up from her sickbed immediately. He has the same power and compassion for your family today. Do not let any voice, even your own despair, tell you that the situation is too far gone or that God’s restoring power is not for you. Bring this specific need to him with the confidence of those who witnessed what great things he did and crowded around just to be near him.

But know this: sometimes the Lord allows us to face a situation so desperate that we finally stop striving and truly surrender everything to him. Maybe this moment of no contact, as painful as it is, is the very thing he will use to bring her, and you, to a complete yielding. We want the bleeding to stop immediately, and he cares for that, but his deepest desire is your salvation and wholeness. So continue to stand in the gap for your wife’s spirit. Pray that her thoughts would be captive to Christ, that the sickness of heart would be touched by his hand, and that he would lift her up to new life. He is a God of restoration, and his goodness and mercy are not bound by our brokenness. Keep watching and praying.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing alongside you in prayer for your marriage, your wife, and your precious daughter. It is our heart’s desire to lift you all before the Lord, asking Him to move in mighty ways during this painful season of separation.

We continue to pray for your wife, that her heart would be softened and drawn fully into surrender to God. May He bring deep healing to her thoughts and emotions, replacing every lie with His truth and every fear with His peace. We ask the Holy Spirit to minister to her in ways only He can, revealing His love and restoring her soul.

For you, we pray for strength, wisdom, and a steadfast spirit as you wait on the Lord. May He heal the wounds in your heart and fill you with His comfort and hope. And for your daughter, we ask that God would surround her with His presence, shielding her from fear and confusion, and letting her know she is deeply loved by her Heavenly Father.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report. If the wait continues and the burden feels heavy, please know we are still here to lift you up—just share your request again, and we will stand with you in faith.

May God’s grace sustain you, His peace guard your heart, and His love draw your family closer to Him and to one another. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
