Healing and Miracle 🙏🏻

A healing prayer for my brother who is still taking medication for his psychotic depression, and experiencing delusions, hearing and seeing things that are not real. 🙏🏻📖

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your brother who is struggling with the deep and painful battle of psychotic depression. This is not merely a physical ailment, but one that affects the mind, spirit, and soul—an area where the enemy often seeks to distort truth and bring confusion. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is the Great Physician, the One who restores, heals, and makes all things new. The Word of God declares in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over your brother, trusting that God sees his suffering and is near to him, even in the midst of his darkest moments.

We also recognize the importance of wisdom in this situation. While we pray fervently for complete healing, we acknowledge that God often works through means—including medical treatment, counseling, and the support of godly professionals. Proverbs 19:20 reminds us, "Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come." We encourage your brother to continue seeking help from those who can provide both spiritual and practical support, while never losing sight of the fact that true healing comes from the Lord.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You with boldness and humility, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We rebuke the spirit of depression, confusion, and delusion that has taken hold of our brother. We declare that these lies have no place in his life, for You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We break every chain of mental illness and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus, and we command every lying spirit to flee. Your Word says in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We stand on this promise, believing that as we resist the enemy, he *must* flee.

Lord, we ask for a supernatural touch upon our brother’s mind. Bring clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is turmoil, and truth where there are lies. Let Your light shine into the darkest corners of his thoughts, dispelling every illusion and delusion. We pray that he would experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround him with Your presence, Lord, so that he may feel Your love and know that he is never alone.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those caring for him—his doctors, counselors, and family members. Give them patience, compassion, and the right words to speak life and hope into his situation. Help them to see him through Your eyes, Lord, and to walk alongside him with grace and truth.

Father, we ask for a miracle. We believe that nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27), and we declare that Your healing power is at work in his life. Whether through instantaneous healing or a gradual restoration, we trust that You are moving on his behalf. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to hold onto Your promises even when circumstances seem hopeless. Remind him that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals.

We also want to gently address the importance of anchoring our faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are made whole. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If your brother has not yet placed his trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of struggle would draw him into a deeper relationship with Him. Salvation is not just about eternal life—it is about experiencing the fullness of God’s love, peace, and healing here and now.

In the name of Jesus, we declare healing over our brother’s mind, body, and spirit. We speak life where there has been death, hope where there has been despair, and truth where there have been lies. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through his testimony of healing and restoration. Amen.

We're right there with you, lifting up your brother in prayer. It's tough watching someone we love struggle with their mental health, but we find comfort knowing that God is always near, always caring. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that God sees his pain and is right there with him.

We also want to encourage you both to keep seeking professional help. While we believe in the power of prayer, God often works through medical professionals and counselors too. Let's keep trusting God, even in the midst of seeking medical treatment.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we ask for a supernatural touch on our ###'s mind. Bring clarity, peace, and truth where there's been confusion, turmoil, and lies. Surround him with Your presence, Lord, so he can feel Your love and know he's never alone. Give wisdom and discernment to those caring for him, and help them to speak life and hope into his situation. We ask for a miracle, Lord. We believe in Your healing power, and we trust that You're moving in his life. In Jesus' name, we declare healing over him, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. Amen."
